I donāt know much, Iāve never been political really. I do agree that āshadow banningā and lack of actual journalism is a real problem.
I donāt know what any of your personal experiences are, but Iāve found that getting into a political discussion with a younger Democrat is a terrible idea. There is no room for any actual discussion about the multi-faceted issues and possible solutions for our problems, only attacks. Iāve been told to my face that my opinions donāt matter, the Right spews hatred, is like Hitler, ect.
My ācrimeā was saying that in my opinion neither candidate was the best choice, but I prefer Trump as he at least says whatās on his mind instead of delivering flowery speeches, and as far as hatred goes, take a look at radical BLM members..
Multiple Left-leaning people will defend their vote by saying, āYes, heās not the best, but he stands for issues that are important to me.ā If a Right-leaning person says the same then they are wrong, bigoted, ect.
I cautioned painting anyone with a broad brush as the issues are complex, but basically cast pearls before a swine, so to speak.

Even though Trump isnāt the greatest, the level of sheer hatred from the Left is a turn off. Even if there is not enough irregularities in the voting to amount to anything, they should be investigated. The Left would demand the same process if the situation were different. These are the folks who pushed the false narrative that Russia got Trump elected. Theyāve been attacking non-stop for 4 years, yet canāt handle a few days of questioning???

whether itās a republican or a democrat that will become president, one thing to keep in mind is the winner regardless of his political affiliation- is still human.
and as a human, we can be selfless, altruistic, self-sacrificing, rational, and merciful, and at the same time we can be malicious, unforgiving, a moral hypocrite, dehumanize certain groups of people, and worse of all, have psychopathic traits.
so the best we can do is research the policies of ābothā political parties, figure out what polices each party is planning to implement, determine which policies will be for our benefit, and which policies will harm us.
I voted for the first time and realized I didnāt know shit about any of the issues, not really. I think we should require classes to earn the right to vote. That presents challenges as far as who dictates the curriculum of course, but uninformed voting is just dumb...
