  i am looking for rebuttals on this statement.

  i find it reprehensive when they preach this from the platform, they do not want jws (who are individuals) to have any individuality.

  they want people to be their personal robots with no free will.

  i began pondering about the reasons why this new light was made and have come to a few theories that may be plausible.

  my conclusion is that the society is hell bent on eliminating the discrepancies to their authority.. .

  the ancient lineage of the faithful and discreet slave - eliminated.

  Close friend recently disfellowshipped.

  just recently i had a very close friend call to notify me of their future disfellowshipping.

  i felt such sadnesss by their phone call as they seemed pretty shook up and were desperately pleading their repentance over the phone so i wouldn't think critically of them.

  i immediately reassured that person that i still loved and cherished them greatly regardless of their status, i would be there whenever they needed me.

  i appreciate all that have contributed their time and hardwork over the years here at jwn.. this post here is directed to those who are on the fence like i was.

  i hope this helps you in some way to understand both the doubts and indoctrination.. i am also currently an active jehovahs witness and have been for almost 20 years (26 years old).

  The Pharisaical Laws of JW's

  i remember hearing from a former elder of a situation he found himself in while conducting the old weekly bible study.

  that morning only one male was present during the morning study, however that brother forgot his tie.

  under instruction from the slave, any brother not properly dressed for a meeting is not to have any congregation priviledges (hold mics, talk, attendent, magazines, reading).

  will we ever see another governing body member leave the organization like ray franz did and speak out against them?.

  one can only imagine the kind of dirt that's been concealed behind those gb sessions since the 1980's.. what are your thoughts?.

  The Blood Doctrine and Children

  i made a promise to myself long ago that if i ever had kids they were not to get baptized at an early age (18 or younger).

  something as serious as baptism needed to be heavily meditated on with a mature mindset.

  permanent vows such as this are no different than a marriage vow and need to be made when they themselves are out of their bloom of youth.. while mentally submersed in wts doctrine i had ongoing debates with myself regarding the blood doctrine.

  Donations = iPads?

  i had my co visit not too long ago and in our conversation on technology (i'm an apple guy) he stated that within the last year the branch supplied all traveling overseers with free ipads to use.

  he then proceeded to tell me he doesnt personally bring his to the meetings as not to stumble anyone (or maybe because we might see his high score on temple run).

  i was pretty surprised by this and began wondering... are jw donations towards the world wide work going to ipads for do's and co's to use in their spare time?

  I've been enlightened.

  ive been lurking for quite sometime and now feel the need to come and noob it up.

  it's taken a lot to bring me to read anything critical of the wts.

  i used to glance at these apostate sites and shutter in fear because of the obvious demonic venom that can be found :) i am still an active witness and have been in this struggle to stay both in and be removed mentally from this organization.
