So if the issue is that the parents dont want to/are unabl to raise the child, can you pro choice people give me a reason why it shouldnt be the mothers right to choose if the baby is killed up to age 3? It still impacts her life! Why should she let a baby drag her down!

How is a pro life person automatically judging? You can be against the practice and believe it should be banned without automatically judging all the people who do it.

Missed another meeting

The fact that your wife has missed her 4th in a row speaks volumes. No truly die hard Dub would do that unless they were very ill. Also her being away from the indcrtination should make it easier to access her natural personality not the cult one.

I know you call yourselves pro choice, but that is sugar-coating the reality that if you are not pro-life you are pro death. I respect peoples opinions on almost any subject with this one as the exeption. I have spoken to several women who have aborted their pregnancies in the past and they are all racked with the guilt of knowing they commited the heinous act of killing their own children. I do not judge these women for what they did, as they were victims of the far left propaganda machine. I COULDNT CARE LESS what the law says here. What are the laws in Saudi Arabia? Are they correct? Should someone be beheaded because they change religions? Well thats the law! You see just because something is made into a law does not mean it is morally right.

Hitler believed that Jews and others were subhuman and therefore should be killed. Today many believe that the unborn are not humans and should be terminated at the mothers whim. What we are talking about is a difference in location here. If somene kills a woman pregnant with twins the murderer gets charged with a triple homicide. If they are not human, why is this charge given? The womans right to as she pleases with her own body is suspended when she is the custodian of another human life. A woman who has intercourse knows there is a chance of pregancy! When she mated with another human being, that is often the result. She excercised her right to CHOOSE at that time. AGAIN I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE REALITIVELY RARE case of rape. IN THIS CASE I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO TERMINATE THE PREGNANCY. However I still think the baby should be put up for adoption instead.
As far as handicapped children go, what RIGHT do you have to decide if the child should live or die? Many handiapped have much enjoyment in life, play sports, get married, have sucsessful careers, children etc. It disgusts me that people are sickened at the people who defend those who cannot defend themselves and have no voice. Its almost like some here even like this. Hitlers first victims were disabled children, and UNSTOPPABLE RAVENS comparison is SPOT ON.
We are the majority too by the way. The latest 2013 Gallup poll has pro life at 48% to pro death 45%

I really dont have the energy to devote to this discussion, but I agree with unstoppableravens. I would like to say that I have notice the pro choice (pro death) crowd always uses the straw man argument bringing up deformaties and rape as examples. In those cases I do not argue against it. However a VERY small percentage of abortions are for those reasons. If that is really your argument, why not support legislation that limits abortion to those two situations. If a mother is not prepared for a child, too young, etc.. there are places the child can be dropped at and left at, also the staff at the hospital can be told that you do not want the child and they will take it off of your hands.
I feel this is not a atheist/believer issue but another kind of issue. Why does a human being not have rights just because of its location? Most abortions are not given when there are just 12 cells, but when there is a heartbeat, organs developing and so on. Some are done in the late term, and nurses report the infant actually screaming in pain as scissors stab the base of the skull and the brains are vacumed out. For those that say "when does it become a life? The ethicists at Oxford University are now arguing that killing babies is no different than abortion and calls children up to age 3 morally irrelevant. They argue that like fetuses, newborns are not "actual persons", but "potential persons". They argue that killing newborns is no different than the abortion already practiced.
