I also do not think you are crazy DD, you are very well reasoned and rational.. Wait.. Maybe thats because I am crazy too? Im confused. I find you sane, yet our wives, who likely really are crazy probably think we are crazy, but if they were to meet would probably hit it off and they would seem sane to each other even if their not?? I dont know anymore.

in last sundays wt there was a paragraph talking about how the 1st century christian congregation was united despite differences.
rich and poor, jew and gentile, and get this.. slave and slave owner!
the wt has admitted that not only slaves were a part of the congregation, but that slave owners were as well, with no sanction on their behavior.
Also they only seem to condenm "cruelty" in slavery, ignoring the fact that buying and selling anther human being is inherently cruel.

Thanks for the quotes Blues-Brother. The 2007 quote is misleading when it talks about how different slavery was back in ancient israel. In the Bible it says that if you beat your slave and they cling to life for a couple days, and then they die you are not bloodguilty. If the slaves were really treated well, a slave should never have been beaten at all, let alone as severely as that. Also the WT quotes did not adress that even after the Old covenant was done away with, the condoning of slavery continued under the Roman system, and this time there were no legal restrictions on how you could treat a slave. As always they put their rose colored WT spin on things.

I believe Breyers still has some real ice cream like their basic flavors- chocolate, strawberry, neopolitan, black cherry etc flavors. I think the frozen dairy dessert flavors are more like the candy bar flavors, bannana split flavor, Mrs Fields cookie flavor etc.
for those of you who have a minute to read this, here is a report from my family trip.. i was in florida for the holidays visiting my older sister and family, along with my parents which were also visiting.. although i've had conversations with my mother about the organization, my sister and her family had no idea of my position in regards to the (un)truth - perhaps because we live far away from each other.
i knew the day was coming.... on my second day there, the whole family was sitting around bs-ing about different stuff, and as usual my mother starts with the "world is getting worse by the day" conversation, followed by approving nods and smart remarks from the rest of the family.
i then politely told them that this was not true, that in fact the world has never been better.
