nothing wrong with having a chat buddy ... and keep in mind that not everyone "in the world" is a bad person.... some of them are are great to chat with.

i was thinking about this weird-a@# struggle we have all found ourselves in and one of the worst things about it is not having a soul in the world to talk to.
we find ourselves isolated from those who know us best, those we've loved dearly and the new people we surround ourselves with could never begin to understand (non-jws).

fan is a shortened word for fanatic
as far as I'm concerned, Cult is a shortened word for Culture.
Within a group ... if there are customs, beliefs, rituals, social rules, etc that differ from mainstream society then they are a cult
are Witnesses fanatics or cults or both? seems like both to me

did all of the boards that existed back then follow the "faithful and discrete" slave and shut down their boards?

I have read lots of lies in the Watchtower publications, but this is worse. Am I missing something?

by Las Malvinas son Argentinas infamous last words.. this is what my mum told me when papa moved out.
when it did finally happen months later, it was because he had left jehovah.
i hated him for many years and refused to speak to him.

Divorce ... for grounds other than pornea ... is scriptural. I will post a lot more on this later.
But in a nutshell ... as JW's are taught that are different greek words that are translated into "Love" ... there are several different greek words that get translated into "divorce" several of which do NOT mean legal divorce.
Much of which is taken literal from Matthew chapter 5 is simply a mistranslatin of those greek words into the English Language.

PLEAAASE modify the captcha logic on this website
by redvip2000 ini'm desperately begging to the administrators of this website, to please modify the logic of the captchas used to validate the logins.. they were perfectly acceptable up to sometime in the last few days when they seem to have been modified.
the level of deciphering needed to read the captchas has gone up tremendously.
it took me about 30 attempts for this last login.. please revert the logic as it was before, where you had 2 words, one easy to read and another moderately hard to decipher..

I spent some time with Sam Hurd and his wife when he was a D.O.
I had them over for lunch ... he was Wowed. I remember his soft soothing voice when he chatted one on one, and his dynamic voice when he was on the platform at Circuit Assemblies.
He didn't sound like James Earl Jones, but his voice was equally as pleasurable and dynamic to listen to. I'd attend an assembly just to hear the sound of his voice.

It has been the last few weeks for me.
I understand it is to deter screen scraping and character recognition programs ... however after 8-10 refreshes that are still unreadable I sometimes give up.
