  all documents of important nature such as, our kingdom ministry, boe letters, forms, or other materials will now be sent only by email or private message communications.

  they will not be posted out here on the board.

  if someone else wants to post them, be my guest.. .. we have no other choice in this matter, and sending out confidential documents is better when it is done privately.

  What Made You Question "The Truth"?

  in the the early 1970's, i used to enjoy going to assemblies, conventions and hear special talks given by bethel heavies.. in those days, we were believers and we applied ourselves as "ministers" with pride.. once the "end" was obviously not within our "generation", many of us started losing interest.. we started to think more critically.

  it took a long time but once you start recognizing the bullsh*t, it's hard to stay in and truly believe at the same time.. .

  For me, it was being DF'd after 38 years of being "in".

  It has become all too obvious that there is a paper thin veneer of love within the organization. It was as if a light switch was flipped and *poof* all my friends and family were gone.

  Without steady doses of the kool-aid, a lot of things started making less and less sense in what I thought was unquestionable and absolute truth.

  I still have faith in the Bible, it's promises, and I have hope for the future. But, I now see an ugly underbelly of human error to what is supposed to be a spiritualy directed organization.

  I've tried POF (Plenty of Fools).

  Mostly women window shoppers. They don't like the perfect pair of shoes for various reasons and it's way too easy to decide that there's a reason your are undate-able.

  As someone who was a born-in, given talks at DC's, and trying to be decent as a man out in the "world", it's very difficult to meet or even understand how most women think, feel, and make decisions.

  I have become cynical.

  So, if there is a better way, please let me know.

  SAD news about OOMPA......

  our friend, oompa, has passed away.

  just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

  it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

  to be honest, the news about oompah has overshadowed my day.

  i read some of the stuff to my wife this morning who is stuck between her loyalty to the "truth" and reality.

  she was shaken to the roots.

  2004 Blood Card & Directive!

  vm44 requested a recent blood card and directive.

  i wrote to a jw who has a relative on the hlc.

  the jw got copies of what they are still using which is still dated 2004 at the bottom.

  I am a techno-geek. But I don't skype with anyone who doesn't pass the smell test. If it smells bad. Don't approach it.

  I'm still "in", and I just want to be careful about those I expose my god-like, amazingly chiseled, and undeniably irresistable visage to.

  ok, only one of the things I mentioned above is true. I have a visage. That's about it. But I like it.

  If we were talking face to face and I said: "You vermin without soul riddled with caustic callous untruth, latent with whole lies and unworthy of salvation.", that would be slander.

  If I had written it down, that would be libel.

  Nothing I said above is true. Unless a lawer says it is so.
