  i just picked up a virus.right now my norton is cleaning it up.i got it when i hit the thread about how much new york property wbts owns.i am waiting for norton to clean this up before i post..done...outlaw

  i feel the need for a rant!

  i had a conversation with my jw elder father tonight that has left me seething.

  just to set the scene, i left the jws back in 1994. i was baptized, having been dfd and reinstated a couple of years prior to my final exit in 94. i was never dfd again and pretty much left to my own devices.

  Well it's sad your father said those things to you, however since he is an elder unfortunately it is about what one would expect. At least under the circumstances he does have a relationship with you where many others here have parents who shun them. Good luck to you though and don't let it bother you too much.

  How could have Rutherford been a 'drunk'?

  i feel that the apostate's claims that rutherford was a drunk to be far fetched.

  on the one hand, they claim that he was so drunk that the brothers at bethel shipped him to san diego to beth sarim, where he stayed drunk out of his mind, then on the other hand, they claimed that he ruled the society with an iron fist, that he was a dictator.

  no drunk could have ruled the society like a dictator.

  i am cassilines husband.

  i know cassiline has alot of friends that monitor this board so i thought i would post a surgery status on cassiline to let everyone who cares about her know how everything is going.

  first of all, i would like to say thank you to the owner of this board, friends and aquintances of cassinline, for all the help you have provided not olny for her but for others that are out there with problems who seek the assistance from people that have a similar state of understanding about the jw religion.

  on msnbc and on fox, right now is leslie van houten....she is having a parole hearing.

  they just discussed the murders of the labianca's...she went into vivid detail on how she stabbed the wife and the sounds that the husband was making as he died.

  she is very articulate and old.

  some time ago i learned of the un affair & saw the truth...i am fading away now so i have not been attending meetings regularly for some time, specially the book study.

  two days ago, i learned that a letter was read in my book study regarding personal attire, and it was said that one should not grow a beard (this letter was not read in any of the other book studies).

  they say you are not a good christian, you are not spiritual, if you grow a beard.

  i know this is probably old news to most, but the site http://exjw.meetup.com/ has regular meetups for ex jw's.

  problem is i am the only one in the area that i am in... i think that all should check out this site, and recommend all to join, maybe i can actually find old friends in my area if the word spreads fast enough.... i would hate to be the only exjw there at the meetup eating and talking to my self :( i am sorry if this is old news to all, but i really would like the fellowship and support of all the ex witnesses in my area... thanks
