i am just desperate .

recently disassociated after 27 years - 12 disfellowshipped) having read ray franz and others now know some of the truth about the 'truth' still struggling to comprehend .

but have lost my exquisite female friend kasandra in the turmoil (she seems to have always been very similar to born again christians (hysterically emotional and no bible study) - also now into spiritualism and is now showing it) and i need meaningful bible discussion (especially with her) not anger and recrimination or pseudo intelectuallity - just people .

For me this is a toss up between In Harms Way, as well as The Deer Hunter. Both classics in my book.

Untrue, I said Clinton, GB Senior, and GB Junior, should all be tried for war crimes.

I suppose you would send most of our ex-presidents for the same treatment then. Maybe we should take Frances lead and just bitch about everything and do nothing.

This is completely against the Geneva Convention, but with a regime that couldn't comply with 17 U.N. resolutions over 12 years, thus causing this war and their own demise, what do we expect.
As far as the Iraqi soldiers go, I can promise you their POWS are being treated far better then ours, less those that faked a surrender only to attack.

This thread gets more ridiculous by the day.
Something tells me though if Al Gore was doing this as president lots of people around here would be saying something different. What people need to realize is that no matter who the commander in chief is here, we have our people out there fighting for their lives while trying to free a nation who has been terrorized by their own leaders the past 3 decades. As someone who got a good taste of war when we had to do the same for the people of Kuwait, I salute the cause, and the soldiers, & to people that make up their smart ass little songs, and protests I might suggest you should be happy we don't have an entire nation that think like you otherwise you wouldn't have the right to have your little fun.

Gee, I've heard similar rumors regarding our (USA) involvement in Iraq.

We had many chances to lift sanctions against Iraq the past 12 years for cheap oil, we did not. The french and russians however do have many deals with Iraq for oil, and frankly put by us getting rid of this regime we f***'d up their little cushy deals and as we have seen they don't like it which is the real reason they were so opposed to war.
