Robdar, did you get a lot of spankings?
No, Mini, I didnt. I was well known for my knowledge and considered good association (which meant I was not popular with the other kids). It was often lamented by the elders that I wasn't a brother. Imagine the wonderful things I could have done for the good news of God's kingdom if only I had had true and proper balls.

I thought about how I was going to get my rear end beat if I couldn't answer the questions about the meeting my father would ask me and the siblings on the ride home.

hallucinogens have doctors tuning in againby john tierneyas a retired clinical psychologist, clark martin was well acquainted with traditional treatments for depression, but his own case seemed untreatable as he struggled through chemotherapy and other grueling regimens for kidney cancer.
counseling seemed futile to him.

I am glad for the re-newed research into psychedelics. Psilocybin, under the proper conditions, is life changing and an excellent tool for opening the mind to alternative realities.

Turn off your mind, relax
and float down stream
It is not dying
It is not dying
Lay down all thought
Surrender to the void
It is shining
It is shining
That you may see
The meaning of within
It is being
It is being
That love is all
And love is everyone
It is knowing
It is knowing
That ignorance and hate
May mourn the dead
It is believing
It is believing
But listen to the
color of your dreams
It is not living
It is not living
Or play the game
existence to the end
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning -

I think I read something similar while investigating gnosticism. It's been a while though. I may be incorrect about the source.

You said, it Psac. Man has killed more than God and Satan put together. How can we expect the gods we've created to do anything less?

What Actually Helped You Leave The Organization?
by minimus inafter seeing some threads about how some think that being direct (like danny hazzard) is the best way to get people out of "the truth" or being very subtle is most effective----i was wondering what exactly made you leave the organization??.
were you more impressed by websites that were informational?
what really got you thinking to leave the religion and its mindset?.

Because I left before Al Gore invented the internet, I had nobody and nothing to help me leave. I had to do it on my own and boy did I catch hell. I was glad to find Randy Water's site and, of course, JWD nearly 22 years later. The support offered on this site has been a blessing.

I have to give GREAT THANKS!
by its_me! ini wanted all of you to know how much you have helped me in the few short weeks that i have been here.. i was starting to sink into a very deep and dangerous depression, wrestling with the lies that i have been taught all of my life, and feeling like i was evil because i did not want to follow anymore.
fearing that i was deeply offending god and hurting him.. since being on this site, the weight is starting to be lifted.
the thick veil of fog is slowly starting to clear, and i feel like i can live!
