this past week i flew out of town to attend a seminar for work, then afterwards i drove 150 miles extra to go and visit my dad.. two years ago my mom died, and the lack of concern/caring from the so-called "friends" from two different states was a major reason why i walked away from the jw religion.. anyway, my dad is depressed and his local hall has him doing more fs, and attending the meetings,,, ok so that could be a good thing for him.. but i noticed that service and meeting attendance is the only thing that they are pushing on him.
nobody seems to check up on him, he just jumped at the chance to go out to eat with me.
and the negativity !!!
Your dad must miss your mom very much and is clinging to the hope he will see her again soon.
I, too, have developed a real hatred toward the WTS. I logged on to this site after many month of inactivity to cruise the threads. Alas, the story remains the same only the names of the victims have changed.

i have managed to cut down to less than 10 a day, but have got to stop period.
e cigarettes are interesting. They are not quite a satisfying as the real ones but will work in a pinch. The only problems I have encountered is sometimes they are hard to draw on and other times they will knock you out with the nicotin vapor.

It seems that a couple of posters have confused Sufism with Islam. The two, although related, are not the same.
2 years ago i attempted to donate.
there were so many questions that were asked of me (and all donors).
most questions made sense or were explained by the technician.
I am a U.S. citizen and the blood banks will not accept my donation because of the two weeks I spent in the UK in 2000. The blood banks say I could have been exposed to CJD.
