Well, I'm a Jew and it appears that you've figured out our secret. Now somebody from the Illuminati will have to kill you. Sorry about that.

Did the Israelites lay eggs like reptiles?
by doubtful ini'm a newbie bible skeptic, but whenever i read the exodus account, i always had trouble swallowing the idea that a family of 70 people could possibly mushroom into a population of anywhere between 2-3 million in a matter of 215 years - (per the watchtower's timeline).
as i said before, math is not my strong suit, but here i will show my calculations regarding the possibility of this account, using the society's timeline.
i will ignore the fact that the bible says the nation of israel was in bondage in egypt for 400 years, and will instead use the 215 year timeframe, also because this harmonizes with the four generations from levi to moses.

Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the 'and of the Almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look?
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fulfil de book.
So
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Is Being In A "Relationship" Important To You?
by minimus ini am referring to a personal/sexual relationship with someone, perhaps, that you could possibly love.. i know a lot of people who are very content to date, possibly have sex and look for another partner..
-
Robdar
Considering the absolute misery that can come with a relationship, it hasn't mattered to me to be in one. Of course, that didn't stop me from getting married a couple of months ago. I guess it really comes down to how the partners interact. A great relationship is very satifying. A bad one can be a slow cruise to hell.

I didn't know stress was a factor in a Grand Mal seizure without a history of epilesy. Epilepsy can be very complicated. Unless the doctor at the hospital is a specialist in epilepsy, I would take his decision that the seizure was brought about by stress with a grain of salt. The seizures could be a symptom of something far more serious. Please encourage your wife to get a thorough medical checkup with a specialist.
Also, please remember that after the Grand Mals you wife wasn't in her right mind. She will probably not recall half of what was said to your father in law. Any decisions she made about wanting you to leave can't be trusted right now. Give her a few days if she doesn't feel like talking today. Things just might work themselves out with your wife although it sounds like you are probably headed to a JC.

Nisan chart in Feb 1 Watchtower
by jws ina couple of local jws dropped off some magazines last week and i'm browsing through the 2-1-2011 watchtower.
on pages 23 and 24, they have a chart showing the days leading up to and following jesus's death.. something struck me as weird.
along with the nisan dates, they have the equivalent date for this year.
-

On page 22, they acknowledge that they use a different date from "modern-day Jews" and have a footnote:
Why I cant imagine why I should believe the Jews over Jehovah's appointed organization. I mean, it's only a Jewish holiday. What do the Jews know?

According to the Jewish Calendar, Passover in 2011 will start on Tuesday, the 19th of April and will continue for 7 days until Monday, the 25th of April. BTW, according to the Jews, the official date of Passover is Nisan 15.

Beks, I was not aware that her husband was a green tooth slob. And she does seem to be hung up on attractiveness.

We would love to say that personality comes before looks aswhat attracts us to a person but its really not true at all. But if u really think about it, when u get older and your looks are not the same as u were when u were younger personality pretty much comes before looks...
Perhaps that is true for you but it isn't for me. When I was younger, I wanted to breed with an intelligent man and that is what always attracted me. For me, the mind is the most sensitive of sexual organs. To each her own, I guess.

Edited to add: P.S. I still think you could be bi-polar. (sorry, but it's true)
