  npr has learned that much more oil, 70,000 barrels a day or more than ten times the official estimate, is gushing into the gulf of mexico from the deepwater horizon pipe, based on scientific analysis of the video released wednesday.. that's the equivalent of one exxon valdez tanker full every four days.

  MsD, I work at a law office in downtown KC MO. I live close to the Missouri River, about 20 miles north in a little, scenic town (damn the bloody tourists!) along the KS/MO border. If you ever go east, drop in for tea. I'll show you around. KC has some interesting sights.

  Whew, I just checked the weather channel website and there are no warnings yet for Missouri, just KS. Of course, I'm on the border and the line is headed toward my town from Topeka.

  I hope this isn't going to be a crappy evening.
