  i really need your feedback .

  i am really down on the dumps regarding being shunned and torn apart about da (i haven't yet).

  a week ago i wrote to dr. phil on oprah and wrote briefly about jw practices on shunning.

  Do you love people more now that you're out?

  i was thinking about this the other day.

  since i've left the borg, i find myself loving other humans more.

  like all the little children being abducted, the miners trapped in the mine last week, the victims of car accidents that i pass on the road, a woman crying in the car next to me while waiting for the green light, the homeless that i see every weekend at a local soup kitchen where i volunteer, etc.

  a friend and i want to organize a get together this summer with all the kids we grew up with in the borg back in the 70's and early 80's.

  i grew up around truth.

  i joined the ministry school when i was 8. i was babtised in 1979 and was disfellowshipped in 1990. i was reinstated in 1992. i was not disfellowshipped for being unrepentant, i was disfellowshipped for "a pattern".

  i was reinstated and began to follow the organizationa and direction of the elders.

  Police Officers and JW Judicial Committees

  voltaire posted something that made me start thinking about judicial committees and the rights an accused has when summoned by one.. basically, here in the us if you are arrested, usually the police officer or arresting agent will read you your miranda rights.

  "you have the right to remain silent.

  anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
