Sorry to hear you were scammed.
This Nigerian scam has been around for months. Also, be careful about e-mails from abroad that you have one a lottery of $1M.
Its' also a scam.

fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
well it seems that my first big mistake leaving the j-dubs was continuing to be trusting of others.
i was trying to sell a fish tank on postaroo.com for $50.
Sorry to hear you were scammed.

i was at the doctor today for over 6-hours to be tested on the issues resulting from the collision.
it seems that there are some serious effects that have emerged, which is not uncommon to happen within a short time after a serious collision.
i will describe them later on, as i am waiting for more test results to arrive.
Hi Jim:
So sorry to hear you have additional injuries because of this accident.
Please know that we are thinking and praying for you and take care of yourself.

i'm talking about the new posters, like kitten whiskers, who started posting today (hope this works: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/120817/1.ashx).
and it seems like we're getting a few like this nearly every day.
people who were raised jws, really worry that they are doing the right thing in leaving, yet who have been made to feel not good enough by the wts, who felt they never measured up, who struggled with it, but came to realize that what they'd been brought up to believe was just not the truth.. the same stories are told over and over again, and they come from sincere, good people - not whiny, fault-finding apostates like the rest of us riffraff around here!

Just remember the account of the sons of Korah, Dathan, and Abirim.
The sons of Korah, Dathan, and Abirm did not stand with their fathers when their fathers went against Jah.

i saw a news article about this on the al jazeera news site the other day and was going to post about it here with a link, but i was not able to because they promptly removed it.
", and inspector harris says "yes, sure".
inspector harris said: "you don't have to take of your t-shirt, just put it on inside-out".
I am really sorry this happened.
My husband and I take Jet Blue all the time when visiting our previous State of New York. I am really shocked at Jet Blue's actions and I hope this Raed Jarrar sues and gets a nice settlement.
People are becoming extreme and too paranoid.....they are not using good sense or good judgement................it's getting out of hand.............

are you for it or against it?
I'm sorry, but there is no justice and being fair when a person drinks (one, two, three) etc and gets behind a wheel.
The likelihood of an accident increases 100 fold and death or serious injury usually occurs.
I have a no tolerance rule for drinking and driving. Do not do it. Period.
If a person decides to drink and drive and in the process kills someone or causes injury, they need to be ready to suffer the consequences.

are you for it or against it?
They have been doing that in NY for a long time.
It's worth it to save lives.
I'm sick and tired of hearing about persons loosing their lives because of some uncaring drunk person who decided they could handle their liquor (when they really could not) and ends up drinking, driving, and killing someone (s).
If you do not drink and drive, you should not have a problem with the roadblocks.

i am so sick of this woman, and her fame for simply being born into a rich family.
i am just waiting for the day that we get to see her name in the obituary and not on the front of some magazine to say what a great thing she has done, when she found a lost dog.
i actually like the movie, "house of wax", as it does allow you to see some damage done to this woman.
I do not particulary care for Paris Hilton.
I do not think she has any talent worth getting excited about. However, I would never wish such a 'headline' on anyone.

I do not like or agree with the WT's 'flip-flop' on the blood doctrine issue.
However, I do not agree with doctors and courts forcing medical treatment on anyone. This girl is 15 years old and capable of making up her own mind.
Young persons today are more sophisticated and intelligent about their health, etc and should be able to make decisions and accept the consequences thereafter.

i read parts of that wt.
all about weddings.
to sum it up, you can have zero fun.
This is nothing new.
Back in 1994 when my husband and I got married, the elders wanted to know what type of wedding we were having, the music, where the reception was, etc.
We still look at some of our wedding pictures and laugh. Some of the pics show elders together- it looked like an elders meeting instead of an reception.
Micromanaging a JW wedding is nothing new.
We let the elders have their fun...after we got married I told the Bethelite elder ( a good friend of my husband) who performed our marriage talk that the elders were to stay out of our business. I let him know that they (elders) were not going to be in our business. He laughed, a nervous laugh, because he could not believe I, a publisher, would say such a thing. Needless to say, they stayed out of our business.
