Yeah, you're right! At the time it was fun mocking and laughing at them, listening to them stumble over their own words and contradict actual WT teachings. These guys were so stupid they didn't even realize that a JC isn't even needed for someone who DA's themself by joining the YMCA. Clueless. Jeez, I wish I would have had a camera. I guess its just all part of the process of escaping the WT's hold or maybe I just like to give bullies a taste of their own medicine.

my niece who is 19 and involved with a "married" man had to meet with her jw's elders last week.

she was terrified because the elders have told her time and time again to get rid of her "married" boyfriend but she refused.

she is head over heels in love with the guy.

Looking back, I was kind of a jerk. After the appeal committee called me back in and told me their decision, I laughed at them, stood up and then said "I need to get going, Monday Night Football starts in 10 minute."

My son got my hooked on the Halo games. Halo 2 online...I hate to admit how much time I've spent yelling at 12 year old kids who mock my poor dead body lol. Now my son just bought a game called Battlefield 2 for Xbox. WOW! On Xbox live it's amazing. Kinda like Halo but more army like and definately requires more team work.

Why? Because we (Joe American) don't feel like watching two gay cowboys? I think most Americans couldn't care less. I live in a small, rural, midwest town. Yup, pick up trucks and shotguns are required equipment (just kidding). Anyway, the local movie theater started showing Brokeback Mountain and guess what? Wasn't a big deal. Nothing happened. No protest. No comments from local churches. Nothing. Nada. People go to movies to be entertained. If Brokeback Mountain is your kind of movie, cool, go for it. Personally I have very little free time and I choose to see something else. Does that mean "I'm acting like a 12 year old"?

With 10,000 Muslims protesting in the U.K this past weekend and with a national I.D. card about to be issued for every Brit, I'd say you guys have enough to worry about without being worried about us.

FYI - I watch Fox news and the BBC (via BBC America). BBC's coverage of international events is much better - I'll give you that.

just curious,if anyone dosent mind sharing..myself,id been out in the real world for 11 years,married twice,etc etc,and the 'trio of guys in bad suits' came over one night and told me that i was being charged w/adultery and fornication..my then boyfriend,and i laughed so hard that we forgot to sic the dog on 'em...funny,cause one of the guys id lived with,a few years prior,an elders son,not baptized,but in good standing,never got even so much as a stern talking to..i remember one of the last meetings i went to as a teenager.the 'trio" came to my parents house and said that i wasnt to come to meetings braless anymore,that it was disturbing the brothers and making them have impure thoughts..and that by me being in a band,in the 'world',i was opening myself to satan...what a bunch of weirdos.especialy since one of my "fondest" memories is of being out in feield service,alone w/an elder,and him having his pants open in the car,and his penis sticking out the whole time.i was like 10,and wasnt sure exactly what the issue was,guess i was a bit naive,but he kept touching it and looking at me..this was a big cheese elder at the time too..very highly thought of and all..again,what a bunch of wierdos....

busted a gut laughing.. reuters.. washington (reuters) - the white house was bombarded with questions on monday about why it failed to go public with news that vice president dick cheney shot a fellow quail hunter until the day after the accident.. the victim, harry whittington, 78, took pellets in his cheek, neck and chest when cheney fired his shotgun while aiming for a bird during a hunt in southern texas on saturday, and was in stable condition at a corpus christi hospital.. whittington was moved out of intensive care on monday afternoon but peter banko, administrator of christus spohn hospital, said he did not know when he would be discharged.. "his condition continues to be stable ... it's not critical, it's not serious.

he's in stable condition, doing extremely well," banko said.. the accident happened about 5:30 p.m. on a private ranch about 200 miles south of san antonio, where the vice president has hunted previously.
