Well, I doubt very much you will find this information within the pages of the Watchtower. However, it is verily known Rutherford had a mistress, I don't think anyone will argue the fact that he was an alcoholic, although I do know that [according to records] as a visiting speaker at a congregation in the 1930s, he ran up a hotel tab for almost 100.00, 3/4 of it was for booze, and he was alone in the hotel.

Newspaper articles of Macolm appeared in the United Israel Bulletin newspaper of New York, and I know of some Bible Students who grew up with Malcolm.

The events of his death were reported by some Bible Students I know very well. Rutherford was to appear at a convention to speak, when he failed to show up, some of the friends went to pay him a visit, they found him lying in the basement, his face fed on by rats, rumors have it of course that Rutherford was buried on the property of Beth Sarim, in private conversation, Fred Franz admits to this, however no one has never seen the supposed grave of Rutherfod anywhere!

did you know that ..... 1. the advent christian church published a monthly magazine called "the watch tower" published at the same time that the society published their "watch tower.".

2. that the society proclaimed the end of the world in 1914, 1915, 1918, 1925, 1945, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1999?.

3. that they once taught that the holy spirit ceased operating in 1918, and that jehovah was using angels to relay his new light?.

a good book,.

i was wondering if any of you have read a book "visions of glory" by barbara grizzutti harrison.

as far as i know, it is the only book written by a woman about the witness experience.

Yeah, she claimed that Russell had a harem and that he died of syphillus ... that is so obsurd!

Now Rutherford, that's another story!

Jeez, Lisa, you're a JW, you should know the answer to that one ... ?

Actually a few years ago, a JW coouple came to our home and after all was said and done, I asked them point blank, what will happen to me and my family, and she looked at me with out blinking and said, "you will die!"

Because at one time the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of PA was the parent company, since the reorganization last year, I don't think that is the case!

i was just wondering if your life has improved since you've left the org?

for me i left when i was 17, went to college, met a great guy who i live with now and have a ton of great friends.

hello my name is gene, i have been disfellowshiped for two weeks.why is it so wrong for brothers and sisters not to talk to me?

?im not apostate,ive never disrupted the congergation.my brothers an elder and i dont want to tell him or my family.. whats the big big deal???????????
