  What do you think of Joyce Meyer?

  i know there are a lot of atheists here, but for those who still believe in god- what do you think of joyce meyer?

  from the few times i've seen her i enjoy her sense of humor while preaching.

  she seems very down to earth and easy to relate to..

  Are you prepared ? A must read !

  i read this tonight and it got me wondering if i am truly prepared for the worst yet to come.. .

  buskirk, n.y. - a few years ago, kathleen breault was just another suburban grandma, driving countless hours every week, stopping for lunch at mcdonald's, buying clothes at the mall, watching tv in the evenings.. that was before breault heard an author talk about the bleak future of the world's oil supply.

  now, she's preparing for the world as we know it to disappear.. breault cut her driving time in half.

  Did you have the bookstudy at your house?

  we did for many years it was great becouse we had small children.

  however you are expected to have a supper now and then after having food droped then ground into the carpet a few times i called it quites on the suppers although i'd invite some for beers after.

  one bookstdy conducter announced there was going to be a supper next bookstudy so i announced no there wasen't he spoke to me after something about unwritten rules i said '' the phraseas call it oral trditions"

  Yep, bookstudy and field service meeting, and I conducted both, when I stepped down, I kicked them out of my home!

  Most Awkward, Embarrassing, Comical things you Experienced as a Witness ?

  many of us i'm sure experienced embarrassing or comical moments as a witness.

  some things we'd rather just forget , i'm sure, but some things helped us think on our feet, quickly in helping others .

  My Father knew

  in 2001 my father became ill. in 2002 my father was diagnosed as terminal.

  i asked if his brother should know.

  my cousins called and said that my uncle, (my dad's brother was dying), so we agreed to stay quiet.

  with all the talk of puking on the site lately, i wonder if many of us don't have spiritual eating disorders.... after all, many posters say things like "i'm puking in my mouth" while reading a pro-jw poster.. perhaps some have to really spiritually puke after attending a jw meeting to get the wt influence out.. so are you a spiritual bulimic?

  or do you just get that spiritual nausea when you see anything jw related?.

  Self -Employed or Otherwise Gainfully Employed - Gas Prices Eating You Up?

  last night at the gas pump i had a verbal , emotional outburst , swearing to no one in particular - just the gas pump , until i saw 2 guys at the island down from me - so i figured i'd let it rip !

  frustration over these insanely rising gas prices finally took it's toll on even -keeled mr. flipper !

  i started my rant , wanting these guys feedback , " what is it with these #ucking gas prices ?

  Faithful slave?

  we have allways heard someones calling them selves "discreet and faithfull slave"?

  they say that jesus came in 1918 and approved them as discreet and faithful.

  many of those were not yet born then, so could jesus have approved them before their birth?

  The problem with the faithful and discreet slave teaching, is that the Society teaches this slave is not an individual, but a class, comprising all spirit-anointed ones, numbering around 7,000 around the world. However, I don't recall the Society ever contacting me for any imput when I was a witness, or anyone else for that matter. Should I or anyone else teach contrary to what was in the publications, we coud get DF'd for apostasy. So it would seem, that the only ones that matter are the dozen or so who sit within the ranks of the governing body!
