  they must of been talking about prejudice in the meeting or something.

  that's when i first learned about it.

  Greetings everyone. Below are 3 links to the writings of Frederick Lardent.

  Frederick Lardent was a Bible Students during the latter part of Pastor Charles Taze Russell's ministry. He left the Society in the 1920s and served independent Bible Students around the UK. His work was mainly around poetry. He produced these lovely cards with artwork and poetry on them, they were later compiled in booklet form. He later published a journal, but I only have a few issues. Below are his booklets.

  Are JW's the only ones imprisoned for their beliefs?

  i'm sorry to gadget, who brought up a similar topic & it reminded me of something i was told 2 days ago.

  is it true that jw's are the majority of people who are currently imprisoned for their beliefs?

  can you give me examples if this is or is not the case?

  There are thousands of Christians throughout the world who are persecuted for their faith. Most of these are orthodox Christians, living in non-Christian lands. Just google "Voice of the Martyrs".

  I have known BIble Students who spent a liftime in work camps behind the iron curtain simply for owning a copy of Russell's books. So ... no, this is not unique to the JW's.

  81 years old and still going fairly strong.

  my older sister was the first one to leave the dubs in our 3rd gen jw family.

  My mom died June 2nd , 2008. But she was dead some five years prior, alzheimers stole her memory, and then her life. She didn't even know who I was.
