  i was just reading some of the topics in the forum and i was just pondering on how many lies and devious half truths the wts.

  put forth and marketed to .

  the general public, it certainly is a huge pot of some of the biggest lies and deceiving statements that men have ever derived from the holiest book the bible.. .

  Kingdom Ministry sheet Aug 2002

  Title - Displaying Christian Loyalty when a relative is disfellowshipped.

  Paragraph 1. "First let us review what the bible says on the subject….."

  Paragraph 2. "Let the expelled one be to you just as a man of the nations and as a tax collector,

  Jesus hearer’s well knew that the Jews of that day had no fraternization with Gentiles, and that they SHUNNED tax collectors as outcasts. Jesus was thus instructing his followers not to associate with expelled ones"– A BIG, BIG LIE from the WT.

  BUT WHAT DID THE BIBLE REALLY SAY ON THIS SUBJECT

  Mark 2 v 14 – 17 "but as he was passing along, he caught sight of Levi the son of Al-phae’us sitting at the tax office. He said to him: "be my follower", and rising up he followed him. Later he happened to be reclining at the table in his house and many Tax Collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many of them and they began following him. But the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw he was eating with the sinners and Tax Collectors, began saying to his disciples "does he eat with Tax Collectors and sinners?" Jesus certainly wasn’t shunning these ones, as suggested by the WT.

  This is why I have "no truck" (London expression!) with these elders, they are all aware NOW of the ongoings of the Organisation.

  How many times have we seen in past history, where atrocities have been committed, the answer to their acts is

  WE WERE ACTING UNDER ORDERS !!!

  No different to what the elders get up to.

  i apologise for taking the liberty of using my alias to attract attention but a number of people have contacted me to ask what they could do to help by way of being a stem cell donor (without a stem cell donation soon i will likely die).

  i cannot express enough just how appreciative i am for such wonderful thoughtful gestures.

  it is possible that your stem cells are a perfect match for me and that you could literally save my life.. however, if you are not a match you could very well save someone else's life - so do please consider being a stem cell donor.

  Can a brother buy his way eldership ?

  can brothers buy their way to stardom (eldership) .

  have you known anyone who got to being an elder because of his financial status or by having a broker working for him.. i knew a brother who had been out of the borg for many years, who on his return purchased a carpet for the kingdom hall.. this must have prompted the elders to see his spiritual qualities, because soon after he progressed up the so called ladder, to arrive at a "glorious elder".. have you come across this sort of thing?.

  As a family we bought many books, subject material evolution, Christian books with a different slant on them than that of the watchtower, and more so the reading of the bible.

  It did not show us the true path back to God, but it did prove to us that the Wts were false,false,FALSE.

  date : 20.03.07. foster mother eunice spry has been found guilty of subjecting children in her care to two decades of horrific abuse.. the 62-year-old, from tewkesbury, beat them, fed them rat droppings, stopped them sleeping and rubbed their faces with sandpaper.

  she thrust sticks down their throats when they misbehaved and made them eat dog food.. one daughter was forced to use a wheelchair for four years even though she was perfectly able to walk.. doctors, teachers and neighbours raised constant concerns about spry's treatment of the children but nothing was ever done by social services.. the catalogue of abuse only came to light when one of the children went to the jehovah's witness elders at the church the family attended.. spry, from tewkesbury, was found guilty of 26 charges of cruelty after a three week trial at bristol crown court.

  Elders a touchstone to the congregation!!!

  An interesting scripture WORTH looking up Jer. 5 v 26 -28

  Why is it that when you wear the wrong colour socks or a pink shirt or any of the many trivial petty things at a meeting, or even away from the Kingdom hall the elders will know exactly what you have been up to and even make a big issue over it?

  How is it then, they have not noticed what has allegedly been going on for such a long time, when constant contact has been there every week. (i.e.: meetings) and if they were, why was counsel not given then, why was it allowed to go on.!!

  first time posting, long time lurking.. came upon this site on accident a few years ago and dismissed it as a site for disgruntled people; however, in the past months i actively searched for it as it stuck in my mind.

  believe it or not, i practically read all of the topics.

  i felt, wow, i wasn't alone in my thinking and feelings about some things.. it all started years ago in my last year in high school and then into college.

  Nice to hear from you, I'm pleased that you saw them for what they really are.

  "Oh, so you don't get out much in the field service."

  There was a period when I was unwell with an exploded disc - I was on my back for four months. As a consequence the elders accused me of not being consistent on field service and took away certain "privileges" that I had because of that - lovely, lovely christians aren't they.!! They certainly are judgemental.

  how we used to latch on to these things very quickly, but if we read the scriptures it doesnt say .

  in fact it says the opposite,.math 24 v 4..jesus said "look out that nobody misleads you".

  "this is the end."

  In fact it say’s the opposite,….Math 24 v 4…………..Jesus said "Look out that nobody misleads you"

  A sure warning to us not to be taken in, then goes on to speak of many happenings BEFORE the eventual end.

  It seems the only way they can keep the masses within their ranks is to keep lying and twisting the scriptures
