hello, sorry for the multiple posts, but this has also been a question of mine to ask.. .
does the wts actually destroy your files if you request them to after you get df'd?
i honestly do not believe so, yet i feel as if you cannot call them on their bs if you do.

there are many silly doctines and viewpoints.. one of the strangest ones is the blood doctrine.. why anyone could logically accept this belief is beyond reason..
When I was small my mother wouldn't let me use those stick-on/wash-off tattoos.
This was long before the teaching appeared in the magazines:

Tattoos Thank you very much for the article “Young People Ask . . . Should I Get a Tattoo?” (September 22, 2003) I really thought tattoos were cool and wanted to get a temporary tattoo sticker. However, the statement that we wouldn’t want to make markings on our body that dishonored God “even temporarily” really hit me. When I considered that wearing a tattoo could stumble others and cause others to view me as rebellious, I decided not to do so.

hi folks.
i apologize if this is old news to some, but it's news to me.. i stumbled on a comprehensive list of all the sold properties on wikipedia on this link... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/watch_tower_bible_and_tract_society_of_pennsylvania#brooklyn_property_sales.
it's just a mind-boggling amount of money, and useful information to have handy when talking to witness relatives.
A great money spinner for the Soc would be if they released their own 'Thablet' (Theocratic Tablet).
Millions of dubs would buy them, they could be locked to jw.org, and there would be no need to print as much.
A monthly subscription plus a newly released Thablet every two years would generate Million$.
WatchTower Bible and Tablet Society anyone?

If it takes a team of 10 people two weeks to translate some WT material into one new language, how long does it take to translate that same material into 10, 50, 200 more languages?
Answer: Two weeks.
Every time a new language is needed, more volunteers are added. The total man hours goes up, but the lead time (elapsed time) remains at two weeks.

ever notice how completely out of touch some (most?
) public speakers are?.
last week we had a speaker ramble on for fully 1/3, maybe 1/2, of his 30 minute talk on the evils of "rap music".. i don't believe the term "rap music" has been uttered by anyone under the age of 40 for at least 20-25 years.. this week we got another "older gentleman" warning us about the pervasive dangers of "internet chat rooms".. again - didn't "chat rooms" die out about the same time as dialing up to connect to aol?.
Yet on this forum page right now are three recent threads all talking about rap videos.

i haven't seen anything posted about this but here is a link to a july 12/13 montreal gazette article entitled: .

You are banned from transfusing the major component 'white cells' (leukocytes), but a breast fed baby eats white cells in the mothers colostrum.
This is something I have never understood.
Why aren't the leukocyte donors (the mothers) disfellowshipped the same as any other donor?

the issue july 15th 2013 changes the understanding of the fds dramatically, and it was broiught out here and on other places this creates numerous problems.. here is another one:.
jesus is supposed to be the head of the congregation.
when something goes wrong, he is often portrayed as the one having control over his congregation and also that in time he will act, clean the congo and direct elders (being the stars in his hand).
If the elders ("stars") are in Jesus hand but it is the GB who give direction to the elders, what does that make the GB?
Answer: Jesus' hands.

i'm just wondering has any body ever been busted on an apostate site because someone was able to identify them because of something they wrote.
why i ask this question is because how would this be explained at a jc.
because the person who reported it to the jc was reading something that they shouldn't of.
Hi Joe,
I was being ironic - let me explain:
The quoted para 8 is actually old light, not current dogma.
The quoted para 10 is the typical WT description of an apostate, but really describes the food the GB has historially provided, then changed.
The quoted para 13 is meant to describe apostates but actually fits the WT publications very well.
I agree with your point - to catch a thief you become a thief sort of thing.
I really hope no-one ever gets busted for this reason, but I bet it happens.
hey guys.
don't really post here much, mostly just lurk around.
so here's just backstory: in 2012, after about half a year of research i decided to leave the organization.
Here's a short thread on the third way to leave the org:
http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/246262/1/Is-there-a-third-way-to-leave
for the first time in years today.
to say that it took me five minutes to read the whole thing would be to flatter the rag.
it doesn't even seem to contain actual articles any more, just headings and bullet points and pictures.
And once again the WT have done exactly what they previously said was wrong to do:
*** w85 6/1 pp. 12-13 par. 10 Walk by Faith! ***
Because of overlooking divine direction or treating it lightly, some might think our meetings should be shortened, assembly locations should not be so far away, and study material should always be simple, never including “solid food.” (Hebrews 5:12)... If that happened, could we honestly say that we were really “walking by faith, not by sight”?
