Something Big is Coming...

the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

"at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".

This is a bit 'far out'...

I wonder if they will suggest the 'gathering' of annointed ones has started; technically there's nothing to say how or how long it will take for the annointed to be 'gathered' into heaven. This gathering is the precursor to the full borg invasion. It may be releaved that the gathering into heaven started in 1975 for example(invisibly of course).

Perhaps they are not raptured, just raised after shuffling of this mortal coil!

Not at all 'far out', in fact it is a current teaching!

What is the "new" date JWs are "hinting" at for Armaggeddon?

after the 1975 "we did not say point blank armaggeddon was coming we only suggested it might come" fiasco what is the new date jws are "hinting" at for armaggeddon?

i know now they do not point to any specific date but hint that maybe it might occur such as before 2000 the preaching work will be finished.

this is a suggestion not a prediction so they can wiggle out of this one.

the best thing to come from the regenal convention this summer, is to see women used as attendants at the end of the program.

they were used in distributing the new publications to convention delegates..

They don't get the same badge and I think they have to register as a +1 to a brother.

regarding the new covenant they write.

the governing body sets the scene in the first article by stating how they are like jesus and as humans they are sinless in god's eyes.. then on page 24 they state this.

first of all i want to express my sincere gratitude to atlantis and his good friends for making this 2014 book available.. ------------.

as i see it, and i am absolutely open to contradiction, the wts appears to be giving another new meaning to this generation.

this time the term means all of his anointed followers, including his immediate disciples.

The first generation actually started to be born around 1840, maybe even 1830. They finished being born around 1900.

Oubliette, what if someone was born in 1950 then anointed in 1970?

They would overlap with Freddy Franz, and would continue to live until approx 2030.

This means that the 'generation' lasts from your 1852 until 2030 - a 'generation' that spans 180 years.

The groups are:

1. Those anointed and died before 1914 such as the apostles.

2. Those anointed before 1914 but who died after it, like Freddy Franz

3. Those who were anointed after 1914 but overlapped with the previous group, like Sanderson

4. Those who were anointed after 1914 but not in time to overlap with group 2, eg someone who gets anointed today.

"This Generation" includes group 2 and 3 only.
