i haven't seen this posted yet.
i was watching the january-don't-educate-yourself-programming and i think we missed the following, at the :31 minute of the show:.
wt now sending portable music devices to malawi so they can sing the new song.
It amazed me how the brother in that video led up to the moment of revealing this device.
He says all about the problems they wanted to solve, then proclaims that it is a provision from Jehovah that they have this player.
He didn't mention that other charities have been using it in Africa since 2010.
So I ask you, did Jehovah bless the other charities first, or does this really have nothing whatsoever to do with Jehovah at all?

Looks like they're still short of men wanting responsibilities.
This magazine won't change a thing of course.

so i have gotten into arguements with my wife in the past about this cult.
now a days after reading steve hassan books...i just try and avoid anything jdub with her.
try to keep her in authentic mode..(not sure she really has one).
Ja 1:27 says The form of worship that is clean and undefiled from the standpoint of our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation, and to keep oneself without spot from the world.
You might also use the good Samaritan text. The injured man wasn't preached to, he was cared for physically, as many Churches do through their various organisations.

yes- everyone has faults and makes mistakes; an organization even more so.. yet, you ignore all the fingers pointing at you.. many here have no faith.
many here go to churches who lie about everything biblical; look at x-mas!.
but at least we know god and christ and try to live up to their name!.
Luke 16:10 The person faithful in what is least is faithful also in much, and the person unrighteous in what is least is unrighteous also in much.
Given there is no disagreement that the WT has been unrighteous when it comes to quote mining, self preservation, false doctrines and greed, how does Jesus view them? Approved? Gods channel? Trustworthy? Believable?
No, they are none of the above.

just heard of a congregation who has announced a saturday afternoon get-together at an elder's home - to let those who don't have the internet watch the jw tv monthly shows!!!!.
words fail me..
These sessions have been organised at our Kingdom Hall.
There was a BOE letter suggesting it should be done for those who have no internet access.
Can't have any missing out on seeing the GB on TV!!

12/19/2014order filed.
upon due consideration, the media request of applicant abc news to make a video recording of oral argument in the above-referenced appeal is granted.
I so hope that the end result of all of this is that the WT are duty bound to drop the 2 witness rule.
What a humiliation, but what a victory for common sense.

The true answer to question 4 on that sheet is that Deborah was the judge at that time, not Barak, as Judges 4:4 clearly states "Now Debʹo·rah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapʹpi·doth, was judging Israel at that time."
Barak was only doing as Deborah instructed him to do after he had been summoned by her, in recognition of her superior authority.
The WT has a real problem with women in positions of authority, to the point of corrupting scripture in order to shore up their flawed teachings.

the generation scripture no longer is speaking about 'the end'.
i'll quote it...... side note: tons of lies in this article, i'll point out at the end of the post.
"yet, jesus words at matthew 24:34 give us confidence that at least some of "this generation will by no means pass away" before seeing the start of the great tribulation.".
The rule is that anyone baptised and anointed at the point of time of 1914 (or is it 1919?) constitute the 1st generation.
So taking your example, someone born in 1839 could be baptised and anointed by 1859. If they lived until they were 80 (1919) then they are the 1st generation.
Another example. Fred Franz was baptised and anointed by 1914 but lived until 1977 or something. This means he was also part of the 1st generation because he was anointed at the key point in time - 1914.
Both these examples show that the 1st generation stretches from the 1830's to the 1970's.... ish. 140 years for one generation.
BUT... "This Generation" is actually TWO "generations" which overlap, so...
If someone was baptised and anointed by the 1970's, and overlapped Fred Franz, maybe being 20 years old at time (i.e. born in the mid 1950's), this person is ALSO part of "This Generation" because he is in the 2nd generation group - the overlapping group.
If this person lives until they are 80 years old (let's say until 2030), then "This Generation" that Jesus said will never pass away actually stretches from the 1830's to the 2030's - 200 years!
WT have obviously got this prophecy solved. After all, 7 millions JW's all say it makes sense.

this week's service meeting, the whole 30 minutes, is devoted to the "new songs" foisted upon jws.. note this from paragraph 8 of the km article that is to be considered:.
we will conclude our meeting today with the new song entitled the kingdom is in placelet it come!
this song, which was featured at the recent annual meeting, was specially composed to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the kingdom.. .
This commemorative song is late. It should have been available and sung in 2014 to mark 100 years.
Sloppy and disrespectful.
