am finding a whole lot of acronyms that are really foreign to me and i now have an appreciation for what cult language sounds like to non-culters.
wondering please if you can post your definitions so i can get up to speed.
otherwise, as an indoctrinated ex-culter, i am inclined to create my own new light and swiftly it will be gospel.
DUB and its associated DUBBIE comes from the name JW (jay DUBbleyoo).
That's why they are also called J-DUBS.
how great to see amiii stating @ tv.jw.org that the watchtower society was the first institution addressing child abuse in a time others were naive about this typical behavior of gay's.
the 1982 awake magazine is such a spectacular example about adressing the problem that they decided to erase it from their digital archives.
will amiii tell the judge that "watchtower" has not any control about him?
we have read with interest the above front-page headline and its articlewhich was published on page 3 of your newspaper the chronicle of june 22, 2015. in the article, the writer, alfred adams of takoradi, reported that rebecca dankwa and her mother, believed to be worshipping at the jehovahs witnesses church, refused to accept blood transfusion on the grounds that their religion forbids blood transfusions, and she died as a result.. as representatives of jehovahs witnesses in ghana, we write to point out the misinformation contained in that report.
our investigation into the matter has clearly established that the said rebecca dankwa was not one of jehovahs witnesses.
since this person mentioned in the report was not one of jehovahs witnesses, we are at a loss as to why the name of jehovahs witnesses should be linked to the story.

i don't know if this has been read by any who are on this forum.
i have only received it in the last few minutes.
it is a good document in that, it is easy to understand, it's not full of legal jargon.
Worldly persons are quick to resort to lawsuits if they feel their ‘rights’ have been violated.
Says the WT who are one of the most litigious groups "if they feel their 'rights' have been violated."
And putting 'rights' in quotes like that tries to convey that these are somehow illegitimate. Well, WT, these aren't legal 'rights', they are legal rights.
he has inadvertently moved the timing of the beginning of the last days to the future.
this kind of scriptural error is the direct result of superficial bible reading.
according to luke 21, first comes the persecution then the wars, earthquakes, food shortages, fearful sights etc.
this is in the july 2015 monthly program on tv.jw.org cedars wrote about it too.. starting at around 42:30 in the video, morris talks about the child abuse situation for almost 10 minutes.
link to video.
i'm writing a transcript right now.
They still haven't rescinded the two witness rule though.
They still threaten the victims with disfellowshipping if there's no other evidence.
They still make minors relive every excruciating and damaging detail before a bunch of untrained men, and often the abuser.
They still don't warn parents when a paedophile enters the congregation.
They still appoint known abusers to positions of trust.
They still force victims through the courts and try to discredit them or make them quit legal proceedings because of lack of funds or mental anguish.
They still buy off abuse victims rather than openly admit their wrongdoing.
They still do not have counselling services for those affected by abuse.
Until these things change, Tony Morris, you have not 'taken a decisive stand against such behaviour', you have merely given lip service to it.
THAT is despicable!

jehovah's witnesses have learned by the mistakes of all the christian churches who wasted valuable money by spending it on "food banks", "woman's shelters", "orphanages" and "homeless shelters feeding the poor and hungry kids".
the current may 2015 "awake" magazine deals with the only way to help the homeless people.
