The phrase petty was carefully selected to refer to both sides. Petty picking at petty, not referring to the knowledge nor to the topic, but to the motives behind both sides. The WT writes it just as pretense to know all things and claim to be up on it when there are changes. This is petty motive to be writing articles wading around in the milk and never passing out the meat to chew. And then those who dig thru the WT lame sacrifice to jehova God in such shallow explanation are likewise making petty quibble of information that is lame to begin with. Myself, i dont spend 50 years arguing trinity of God because to me that is passing out milk to have more babies, when the babes brought in are now time to grow up. You dont feed your teens milk because you still have toddlers in the house. NOR do you merely invite your teens to drop the milk and have a steak or a beer as a reaching opportunity to grow up if they wish to. Scriptures are quite clear stompning the foot and wacking the hand saying HEY GROW UP. GET OFF THE MILK.

I dont think you can criticize any religion at all for reading the words of Jesus referring to a generation and then having opinion or conversation about the words chosen to say it. The WT didnt say generation, Jesus says it, and it can be taken many ways. So it doesnt make much sense to see a quibble as if those finding fault are worse than those who created the fault. BOTH sides turn out to be equally petty. And petty always is ruinous from either side's viewpoint or claims.

My preference is to the belief that Obama will announce an asteroid before 2014 because it will be 100 years, a generation easily for the firts 144,000 ever written in history, Peleg's generation who died in 2030bc and the cuneiform tablets says they numbered as 144,000 men (elders / kings), and then says after Sargon "Just who is king, And who is NOT king?". The MAINSTREAM MOTHER of Catholcism and Protestants and Lutherans and Anglicans are all called mother whore in paganism, yet the daughter evangelical churches are the ones who many have quit holidays stating they are pagan and giving these sources to the WT to agree with them. How does the WT get truth from pagan Christendom's daughter who if mother church is whore, then let us ask is daughter whore washed clean? Rather let me point out that Noah died on Christmas 2021bc Dec 25, and Nimrod died on 1770bc April 22. So that 1770bc Dec 25 honors Noah not Nimrod. But that Nimrod born (100 after Noah's 40-day rapture of the ark as his baptismal death thru Flood 2370bc) in 2270bc who died at 500 in Year 600 (after Noah) Flood 2370-1770bc, is claimed in Assyrian and Greek chronologies to have died in Year 950 (Flood 2970-2021bc and Flood 2958-2009bc) so that he was born (those 100 years after Noah's rapture of death Year 350) in Year 450 to live 500 years to Year 950 which is still 600 after Noah (40-day rapture at death). Thus before Nimrod was claimed to have died the year of Marduk Street (2009bc), he was claimed to have died Dec 25 Christmas 2021bc which is Noah's memorial, not Nimrod's. This means WatchTowerdom has accepted the gossip of Christian churches in fabricating what was pagan and where it came from. Sad, very sad. Because they dont let go of the lies they've been shown for 30 years now. In 1985 they were told Xisuthros is not Noah, which is as important as proclaiming from the roofs that the witch of Endor did not speak to Samuel's ghost.

Anything, puzzles the mind when a real true answer is rejected and people wish to browse millions of fabricated answers. Being puzzled at the world could be something autistic or retarded do most, and very sad if people with functional minds choose to be just as awed and dazzaled and befuddled. It is an insult not a compliment. This is what Jesus meant when he said nor would they believe if someone came back from the dead. Einstein? Galileo? which dead person should come back? would they believe him? would they believe who he is? The story of Gilgamesh is about a king who comes back to his city twisting everything Noah told him, and yet he bragged that it was him Noah told this too, not someone else. We find the same in the book of John written after Peter died, and the others had died too, and John relates how the dead Jesus walked up the beach with Peter and spoke only to Peter, but that upon fearing John's approach the paranoid Peter relates the next 50 years how it is he not John who understands what jesus said to him... that John would never die, either Christ comes back in 50 years, or John will live 1000 years (2000 years?). BIG BROTHER might have his fist held up telling siblings to do as Dad says, but what Dad wants, Big Brother is the liar twisting it all. Religion has many big brothers on here (just to destroy good JWs), but the K.Halls still have many rotten big brothers who control the halls contrary to written material because they read it as they want to, and they force their brothers to comply or get DFd. So the purging doesnt work. It ousts many who are little brother Joseph, and it also glorifies many elder Eli and his fornicating sons at the Hall, and though all say well jehovah will expose it, meanwhile they are calling Hannah a drunk and DFing her too. How is her son Samuel raised at the temple, if she got Dfd, or was it wisdom on her part to grovel ! Jesus came to save Jews from having to grovel at the snap or demand of the Pharisees.

Structures everywhere are of opinions just to produce books, each one out to make his own money or fame from being the know-the-answer. The original claim of the Great Pyramid was based on its main shaft. Precession of the Earth proves it pointed at the star Thuban. BUT that gives it a year of 2170bc or 3350bc (note 1180 years) because when the pole was in the middle (590 years) between those two points in 2760bc, the pole was on the star, but the shaft is below the star and cannot see it. Another source says 3400bc or 2170bc making the middle point on the star in 2785bc. People thrive on the idea that Egyptology places it at this 2785-2760bc, but as proven it isnt seen in this year. So they radiocarbon-date it and as 2853-3809bc (1000 years). The problem with radio-carbon is they toss the dates they claim are not right such as 2200bc and keep the ones they claim are right. One example is Peleg's death in the tombs of Ur. They date as 2030bc. This is correct because he died 340 years after the Flood. However, Egyptian Septuagint Genesis says Egyptian flood (presumed as Nile (was 720 years 180 leap days earlier) in 3090bc. And that Peleg died 768 years later as did Unas Sakkara in 2321bc. Thus they expect things that date as 2030bc to be dating as 2321bc. And thus the stretch back to 3090bc. However, water canopy elimination increases C-14 by 12 times which means that the 340 years from Flood to 2030bc will appear stretched in C-14 not a mere 720 years but rather 18,000 to 20,000 years more than they are. Thus we find 2170bc Giza dates as 3000bc as 2237bc Jericho dates as 7000bc. ETC. My measuring the geometry of math given on the internet and all books available shows that a shaft that high (about 3 feet) and that long will lose sight of a star in a mere 92 years. This brings in alignment several astral facts about Genesis. The 2170bc is 200 after the Flood, and when Narmer or Nar (Nar Merod) was 100 (born in 2270bc) thus fulfilling tradition that the stars called Seth were observed to compare 100 years. As you can see in 92 they fail from 2170-2078bc, corrected they fail 2078-1986bc, correccted they fail 1986-1894bc. All three of these subsequent years are also Genesis related. In 2078bc, Haran was born grandson to 99-year old Nahor (2177bc). This 100th year is a full 100 years of 360-day. This span 291 years from the Flood returns Venus to a date that spans 3600 new moons which connects the word Sar (3600 days) and the word Shar (3600 years) to the word for the moon Saros. Another 92 years to 1986bc and it is an exact number of 13 orbits of Saturn in 383 years. As reborn Saturn the Pharaoh makes his seat as absolute by his proclamation that he can choose to accept either vote in the house of kings by siding his vote with the minority instead of the majority. This is the 43-year 11th dynasty that Papyrus stretches to 143 years to fit the stretch to 3090bc. Lastly, the lie that Bable had the first king. WRONG. Does anyone feel bad and rotten for Joseph having to marry an Egyptian priestess, daughter of the Egyptian high priest, and have pagan Egyptian children because his JW brothers sold him after trying to kill him. I feel real sad that he didnt get to marry a woman of his faith, so that his brothers could continue to trash him there in Egypt as long as they lived. to torment him. And scripture says that Jacob died and the brothers then said Our father being alive is the only thing that stopped you from killing us. (translation = youre so evil Joseph we disfellowshipped you in absentee because dad wouldnt let us if he knew about it, and now that dad is gone to keep us alive we know you would kill us because we are right about how evil you are Joseph. I find this thinking behavior very strong at kingdom halls as if Satan is far from being purged out of them.)

i live in holland and my children are 5 and 7 years old and live with their jw mom.. today i was pondering what legal rights i have as a parent regarding the status of my under age children within this religion.

what would happen if i was to send a registered letter to the branch and congregation, that as long as my children are under age they cannot be publishers or get baptised.

and if they are there will be legal consequences.

The church cannot abuse a child for laws that the government protect a child from. If the government protects children under 18 or 16 or 14 from sex by adults, then that church has no business making the guilty adult the person protected instead of the child. TRUE the Maclaine-Hepburn movie The Children's Hour is about Children accusing two teachers of being lesbian until one questions her feelings and commits suicide, implying the damage a child can do to an adult by lying, but that doesnt mean adults are liars /children are not, or children are liars /adults are not. And we have a rotten court system in the USA whose attorneys get on TV and say both are always liars and that the judge and/or jury sees the 50-50. The point however, is that a child of 12 in america is not jailed for the sex a 14 year old had with them, or jailed because that child says someone 40 touched them. So if the church symbolily jails them, they have taken action against a child that the state protects. In such a case Jehovah is using the government to protect the child, he is not using that church. It says obey superior authorities WHO PROTECT YOU. This doesnt mean obay anything everything governments force you to do, it means government exists because it claims to CARE for the people, keeping them intact. So if the church protects the child and the government does not, then Jehovah is with the church. But if the government protects that child, and the church does not, then jehovah is with that government. This should answer how and when we should present our case as parents. The BIBLE DOES NOT teach that: Church is always right, government always wrong. The concept of not going to nation courts presumes if church is good, and courts are bad. But if the church is bad, let it be known that the temple of Jehovah was built by king Darius thru court letters sent to him signed long ago by king Cyrus, both pagan kings whose words are now written down as if they are Jehovah God's words.

The way to win such a legal battle is not to question the right of your child to have religious beliefs, or vow himself, or baptize himself etc (Catholics get baptized at birth, so the law includes ALL religions). The question which needs to be brought out legally to Amish, Menonites, Mormons, and JWs is the result of shunning a minor due to this baptism that does not occur to that level if not baptized nor a member. Then you would get results, because it is PUBLIC abuse to a minor, by the PUBLIC, the church.

The motivation for door-to-door will soar when the tribulation begins due to the slaughter of the last 10,000 to go to heaven. By releasing the power upon all 144,000 to come to earth and appear 40 days in flesh, the great crowd which has scattered and deserted the anointed will to their shock, and awe see and speak and walk 40 days with them, inspiring them to warn all that the asteroid impact that Obama has announced is indeed real and all must be told to ignore the martial law to sridgetay home because they must be at the base of the highest mountains ready to climb before that asteroid strikes. Those not there will not make it. They'll die, earthquakes, winds, storms, fire, traffic congestion, chaos, gun shootings, as the continents once again go under the oceans. The 40 days before impact will be the incentive to preach the word COME WITH US. The tribulation during the 40 days is from religion being wiped out and standing against government when the asteroid announcement is made. It is also a war against religion because they are the ones who get them to kill the assembly of Christ communion (the last saints). In return governments demand peace as Rome demanded on Jerusalem, but the churches pull out their guns, knowing it is armageddon. This is the tribulation. it is 40 days. The earthquakes, collapsing bridges, no escape to the mountains all comes after the astral impact where governments attempt to catch up to the fleeing great crowaded up all mountains. I wouldnt have faith in this scenerio, if i didnt have all history accounted from of all nations back to Noah, and even the angels ruling on earth before Flood back to Adam.

I dont think there should be rules on counting time at all, but instead there should be warnings. Jesus didnt make rules, he gave warnings. Love does not say "Collect hours-of-time like you do money". An example of warning is "What love will you develop for others, if it's the time you seek to count, so you can say youre doing, what youre not, (in effort to love and save people)". NOW the major question is about liars. If reporting a crime against you, of a graphic serious nature, (an attack to destroy, to hate, to kill, to rape), are you warned, that speaking about it, will punish you as a slanderer, while lying about hours of teaching and preaching is not an excommunicating offence? Indeed if petty lies are punished to show that people can sort and shun in pettiness, the question rises about serious things slipping thru, first a few, then many, and then outright denial (the world rapes, but we do not). Odd but i recall a man cutting a woman up as a message that Israel had come and raped her to death. So do we disfellowship the man who cut her up and mailed her out to the 12 elders of the 12 tribes? Sad, very sad. It is claimed Christendom makes people permanently worthy of GeHenna (unrepentant ending in the trash) and yet anyone leaving WatchTowerdom is not seen as meek ones stumbled but rather evil ones who put themselves in GeHenna, because it is impossible for the WatchTower to do such. Well i would like to draw your attention to any picture of the holy temple and note that the wall around the whole temple, and also the wall around the whole city and its people go around the temple and the city and squeeze right between the watchtower leaving it outside the city. In fact it was from the watchtower that the jews shot (arrows) and killed Romans before any Roman returned fire. Doesnt sound like the Jewish watchtower was free of guilt, and you had to go thru the temple to get into the watchtower. GUILTY !

I disagree with any person who is not JW, or is JW, or is GB if he says we cannot know our own personal immediate future. If a car heads toward us our mind tells us (as if to be God's voice) to jump out of the way, or we will know our immediate future as dead or in a hospital, versus injured from jumping. So too The scripture is not saying here is just one thing you can know about the future, but rather it is right in line with all personal future predictions. If a man is going to rape you, the wise person will see it in his eyes, in his look, in his words, and will not let the person close enough to grab or pull a weapon. Personal future is predictable, and many times we (like 3 elders blaming Job for his tragedies; God forbid the WT calls them elders) are the ones adding to the misery of someone raped. People are raped by churches not just kingdom halls (i use the word rape for all things forced, business, your wallet, your dignity right in front of others, people rape singularly, and they also get gang bangs on you, when just them isnt working). I am here to defend truth, and that makes both sides as liars, the WT and this forum. Give me the freedom here to speak and i can answer all questions because my God Jehovah is with me. I saw this coming 30 years ago, and was called apostate for seeing it. Even at 9 they lied about me and said i was going to be destroyed by Jehovah. Many of them are dead now, so if you wont let me give names of those living, i at least have the right to speak of those who are dead because i have survived with truth, as Jossph survived his brothers. Sadly i dont recall Jacob saying to his son your ten brothers must first forgive you and reinstate you before i am willing to move all of us to your pagan Egypt that you decided to accept pagan leadership of.
