i never believed that in 1975 or by the end of the 20th century, we would see the great tribulation occur.
some witnesses would listen to fred franz' talks where he clearly told his audience that 1975 was the end of 6000 years and the beginning of the jubilee....or something like that.. was there something that you never truly accepted that you were supposed to believe as a jehovah's witness?.

i had heard about chess promoting war but chess was big with a few of us in our cong. oh, but the arguments that would break out after an epic win. the only WAR involved sore losers.

we all wonder who he is, but he had the full 30min service meeting this week... there were some predictably shocking comments from the congregation, all based around how you cannot possibly give your best to jehovah while coach is screaming for your best, cue scripture: "cannot serve two masters".. of course nobody says that it's just a made up story, nope, guilt the kids out of their dreams why dont ya.

ok, so even if laws are to be written on people's hearts vs spelled out into lawbooks, there's going to have to be some laws in the new system of things, right?
i say we get the ball rolling and brainstorm what they should be: after all, none of us got invited to the party anyway but since there just ain't going to be any party, why let that spoil our fun?
so, the theme is laws to be in effect in the new system.

did you ever get the feeling some are really excited to see the world destroyed- going so far as to imagine, gleefully, certain buildings crashing and crumbling down.
of course this imagery is all over the magazines but i noticed some interalize it to the point of going around imagining their whole town in ruins, and then being delighted with the image, feeling righteous etc.
was there ever a building you imagined coming down- or can anyone speak to this peculiar feeling some exhibit where they are getting a real kick out of the impending destruction..
lol, we grew up im a mobile home, being crushed was NEVER gonna be a problem. but i knew jah would have the earth swallow me if i messed up. lmao. thanks for the memory.
i can remember all the while i was in the cancer that they would trump up the value of pious-sneering.
one of those was the "joy" of serving jehovah full time.
they would always have these fantastic stories about how they had obstacles that they foolhardily disregarded, or that they got all these people into the cancer.. this is full of rubbish.
