The scary thing about this is the infringement on civil rights. The wording is rather vague...who defines "limited" and "malicious"? If this is in the wording somewhere, I missed it, but then I did rather skim the article. I'm all for cracking down on criminals, but once we give up some of our personal freedoms, it's difficult, if not impossible, to regain them.

sometimes when i think back about when i was a dub, i get a little embarrassed.
i remember telling my kids not to draw on watchtower mags (i also had to tell their mother) i was a grown man and would let nerd elders counsel me for dumb things, like saying the word luck, or bulletin board.
i remember getting to the end of the month and not having the cong average field service time and start to worry what the other elders and co would say.

You ACTUALLY had to do street work in front of a water park???!!!! Ohhhhhhh, that's not right! Holy cow, talk about cruel and unusual punishment! What an awful thing to do to a kid...having to stand outside peddling magazines, while listening to the yells and screams and laughter coming from inside the park. C'mere Xena honey, and let me give you a hug...at least my mom never did THAT to me!

select the bbc programme from the drop-down list (it's in two parts).. the first programme starts at about 2 minutes (you get to see our weather report first) and has a good intro by the newsreader.. let me know if you have any problems ... i'll probably put a better quality version up when i have more time.

Oh geez, you guys are bringing back some awful memories!! I grew up a dub kid, a poor dub kid, a poor dub kid whose father wasn't a witness...can anyone say "solitary life"?? I was always embarrassed at how I had to dress and the car we drove out in service....ewwwww, thanks for reminding me!!!
But on the topic of our kids, etc...when my son was about 5, he wanted a bowl cut, so that's what we did and he looked absolutely adorable! *Snicker* My mother was horrified when we walked into the Kingdom Hall, said she couldn't believe that I let him get such a 'worldly' haircut. I told her it was what he wanted and that we all liked it very much, and she again was aghast that I would let a 5 year old make such a decision. LMAO! Ahhhh, the good old days...may they never come again!
