Odd experience today

ok just thought i'd share this odd experience that happened while i was responding to perfect1's thread "did a householder at the door ever cause you doubts?

" (apologies for the bad typing in that btw - was on my iphone and in my work-break).

was just relating the experience of a householder who caused me to question my beliefs.

he went on many outreach type campaigns, had had a few "spiritual" experiences and I realised that I was in no position to judge where these experiences came from (the stock JW answer would have been that they came from Satan).

He sounds like an interesting guy.

What Does Keeping The Congregation Clean Mean To The Governing Body?

now we all know how the governing body hates any defecters from watchtower corporation's control.

listening, obeying, and be spared alive from jehovah's wrath blah blah blah has become their new mantra sung to a liltingly slowly moving indoctrinatingly booring tune taylor made to dull the mind and not sharpen it.. so uncleaness that the congregation need to be kept clean from are things like people who celibrate birthdays, mother's day, christmas, even if you go to another church and participate the congregation needs to be cleaned from your pesents.. no gay couples, no crossdressers, no masterbaiters(they make sky daddy real sad), definately no children bringing wizzard like toys to the kingdom hall to play with(jehovah considers these an afront to his sovereignty and make him sad, striaght dope from the gb who know what jehovah feeling at all times).

ipads and other electronic devices are ok but might bring in some uncleaness especially if they watching videos of hot looking brothers signing on and on about not touching those private spots and getting all horny and stuff because jehovah don't want to be looking down from heaven and see one of his worshippers masterbaiting because he's been deprived of the experience because he's god and he ain't got no wife nor anybody to work his dingaling, he don't even ease nature at all until he has a relevation climax or something repressing all that sexual energy can make you mean i hear.. and no apostate material or looking up web sites critical of the governing body while at the kindon hall meeting facility.. no idols, visible tattoos, child molesters.. person stealing money from the contribution box, they are very unclean and considered a judas of sorts.. .

Like all small-minded people they mean they only want to be with friends who think and believe exactly as they do. Too scary mixing with people who have different ideas! Apes, so funny!

as a baby boomer making the best of every day, i have a casual list of things i want to do before i, well .

we all know about the promises made, and, gee whiz, i want to be a good and faithful boy.

but i'm beginning to wonder if i should buy a few more baskets to put my eggs in.

Hi CoCo, actually I started my bucket list at age fifty because there are still places I want to see. The pyramids of Egypt; the Rockies; the Himalayas; the Andes.

Yes I like mountains! I don't think there is anything morbid about it because we need to work out how much money we need to do the things on our bucket list and that means being practical.

Those of us that have lost our partners can no longer practise denial and pretend it is not going to happen can we?

I am going to try and enjoy every year and plan what I want to do so that I don't feel regret when I am too old to do anything but sit and read. Which won't be a bad thing either because there are lots of books on my bucket list.

if the wbts is just another business?

then what do the gb get out of all this?.

tim cook (ceo apple) makes around 378 million a year.. donald trump makes around 60 million a year.. i understand the wbts may have vast property holdings, stocks, bonds, and revenue from donations.. but i can't grasp the incentive for the gb to make this stuff up.
