well long story short, i've been meaning to ask this girl at school out for a while but i can never do it because her friends are always there in the way and i would prefer to ask her in person.
we've liked each other for a while (i was oblivious until about a month or two ago) and i'm also i bit worried she'll get tired of waiting.. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice or something that they could give me.
Did you go to prom already. Dude.
wear your nikes and JUST DO IT

You should really ask her for her number and then wait a day and call her.
It is more romantic than giving her your number.
Girls like to see a little effort.
researchers working with a telescope at the south pole beleive they have glimpsed light from the first "trillionth of a trillionth of a tillionth" of a second after the big bang.. a lot of work has still to be done to confirm the findings, but if it holds up it is one of the biggest discoveries ever.. _________________________________________.
...inflation came with a very specific prediction - that it would be associated with waves of gravitational energy, and that these ripples in the fabric of space would leave an indelible mark on the oldest light in the sky - the famous cosmic microwave background.. the bicep2 team says it has now identified that signal.
scientists call it b-mode polarisation.
looks like a few of you on here might enjoy brown liquor as much as i, so i thought i'd ask.

the man who invented the religion known as "jehovah's witnesses," was joseph franklin rutherford.. he is the same man who spread the message, "religion is a snare and a racket.".
that's right, religion was the poison that caused the rot in the world.. were jehovah's witnesses a "religion?
" hell no!.

cofty,
I agree, that does seem likely. At the same time I have never observed anything like a superstitious animal, except maybe in studies where animals avoid pain and the seemingly related stimuli that accompany the pain.
The thing about superstition, and perhaps religion too, by extension, is the promise of a positive outcome, not just avoidance of a negative one, and I wonder if that might be uniquely human.
Example: lucky underwear, etc.

Cofty, I wonder if animals are superstitious.
not sure when i came to this conclusion but i can't imagine living forever.
after a while i think i would be completly bored with everything.. not saying i wouln't like to live for a few hundred years or maybe even a few thousand if i could travel through space and discover other universes star trek style.
but the thought of living forever sounds like it would eventually become a complete drag.. maybe i'm wrong, maybe after a thousand years or so you would foregt all the stuff that happend at the beginning and just start over in an infinite loop..
well, if you were a biologist forever would be pretty interesting because you could actually see species evolve, suceed, or go extinct.
