I don't think this is anything new at least not for pioneers. Text messages have been counted as return visits for years.

by EndofMysteries inif you don't know, km's are now online too.

"Jehovah is really blessing our family! Thanks for your visit"
by stuckinarut2 inso i am being hounded by the elders who are staring to get suspicious about our "slackening off in the truth".
rather than being railroaded or pushed into a defensive or argumentative situation, i am keeping the following comment up my sleeve:.
"jehovah is really blessing our family life.

Avoid the elders. Just don't be available. I had an elder stop me in the street once for a chit chat ;) and then he got to the point - the other elders had told him he was more likely to see me than the others were and so they asked him to arrange a time when two of them could come around. I just said I'm really busy at the moment so I'll get in touch when I can make some time spare. He kept labouring the point - but we'd really like to see you etc - I just kept repeating exactly the same phrase. He eventually got the message. I haven't heard from any of them since.

Don't bank on a dramatic reaction. I grew a beard in order to avoid being made a ministerial servant but it didn't work. Depends on your local elders I guess.

Tv.jw.org - Average Jdub reaction? I'm getting NOTHING but Silence!
by 4thgen inhello all, as you know, when jw tv was announced, our board went wild.
many comments, much speculation and alot of negative feedback on the quality, etc.
well, what has me concerned is that i have not heard a peep from any of my connections left in kingdom-land.

I asked my mum whether she had watched and she said she couldn't get it to work on her tablet. So I helped her access it and said "now you can watch JW TV" (she's housebound at the moment). Her response was less than enthusiastic....may even have had a hint of sarcasm 😉

I went through a phase of having these episodes . Very scary. I thought I was possessed. I would try and move and I couldnt. I would try and say "Jehovah" but my mouth couldn't move but still I could hear a demonic voice saying "Jehovah" And I thought the voice was mine. For some reason it would be accompanied by a buzzing like a wasp. No wonder people think they're being attacked by demons!

if the weather's good, Cornwall is great, great coast and history (if the weather's bad it's a bit miserable)
lit you like a bit of history Hampton Court is a great day out. You can take a Thames trip to Hampton Court from London if you ve got the time

Strange letter to local congregations
by Syme inthis summer i saw on the bulletin board of a specific kh a strange letter, the info of which i'd like to share with you.. it came not from the gb or the branch office, but from the local evangelizers school.
what it said was roughly this:.
because they want to enrich the school's library, they ask from the brothers in the region (i.e.

It could be that if there are active apostates preaching in the area they probably quote from old publications, and so they want to prepare a counter argument from the same publications. if that's the case maybe it will backfire and help some on the school to wake up.

I look most days on my phone. Often just quick look thru the topics and a more detailed read of the ones that interest me. I only usually post if I think I've got anything to add to the conversation - so probably not very often!

Discussion with 2 Elders about IS
by Da.Furious insome will notice i was really busy during the weekend, thats true as some jws will say i was in a spiritual paradise surrounded by brothers.. my view of a paradise is everybody living in harmony and happy, my weekend experience was more like unhappy people and complaining about almost everything, not to mentioned the quite discussion in the corners (i.e.
gossips).. anyway, during on the discussions, the is (islamic state) topic was started.
it all started when on the elders said that he prefers to talk to muslims in the ministry since they are more open minded and accept our teaching.. i dont come from a muslim background but lived among them enough to understand what they believe.
