  Child Mortality Rate Falling!

  as the wt spews ever more propaganda about how increasingly evil the world is in its "last days", it's nice to see them proven wrong yet again.. the child mortality rate for preventable deaths in children under five years of age has dropped again!

  now it's down to 19,000 per day (which is still a shockingly large number, of course, but i remember when it was 40,000 per day!

  ) that's down 27% compared to four years ago!.

  it's the 11th anniversary of the attacks on the world trade center in new york city.

  the media here in the u.s. are repeating taped interviews of survivors.

  i have no problem with that; it was a tragedy we shouldn't forget.

  Slavery!

  i've always questioned the appropriateness of the title "faithful and discreet slave" that the governing body so proudly assigns itself.

  but i've spent most of my time demonstrating how they've been neither faithful nor discreet.

  recently it dawned on my that i'm even more angry at the fact that they call themselves a "slave"!

  a while back, whatistruth posted the question: how many bible events can we site that no human has ever witnessed.

  i was surprised that no one cited isaiah 43:10: .

  you are my witnesses, is the utterance of jehovah, even my servant whom i have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in me, and that you may understand that i am the same one.

  Did Woman get here by Evolution or by Rib?

  when i was in the false one of the most important books was "did man get here by evolution or by creation?

  " wherein the wt did a bang-up job of pulling their usual tricks in an effort to sound like they knew what they were talking about.. but i always wondered: what about women?

  did they evolve, or were they formed from a rib?.

  You Can't Live Forever in Paradise on Earth

  this will come as no shock to most of us.

  but i wanted to detail the reasons in simple language for our witness friends in my latest blog: you can't live forever in paradise on earth.

  sorry if it bursts anyone's bubble, but those who are loyal to the truth surely won't mind following where it leads.

  Flee from "Old Light"!

  some witnesses fail to realize that "old light" is far more dangerous than any apostate writing.

  i saw evidence of this when i reviewed "rutherford's rainbow" on amazon.com and mentioned that witnesses were discouraged from reading the old literature.

  many witnesses responded that i was lying as they'd never been told this, and in fact had old literature on their shelves (which witnesses evidently equate with having read a book [e.g., see here where a witness justifies her ability to review the finished mystery without ever having read it by saying "i have it on my cd".]).

  it was a popular tabloid in the u.s. which sometimes made bible-based predictions, even setting dates for their fulfillment!

  New & Improved 80 Questions Discovered!

  it has been years since i posted here.

  i've been reawakened to the cause by teeny pyjamas and his humorous blog-site.. following in his (and andrew's) footsteps, i have begun writing humorous blogs about the org.. if you enjoy teeny & andrews blogs i think you might enjoy mine as well.. the funniest, i think, are the sparlock and the election day blogs, but take a gander as well at the discovery of the new & improved 80 questions; we're missing nearly half of the questions and welcome ideas for more!.
