i am interested in getting a list of lies that the watchtower has said or wrote in the past that could actually be proven to be as such, or, for the very least, deliberately misleading.

I like to see how words are used. As such there is a word that is usually left out of this quote. That word is "seem". Jackson said it may SEEM presumptuous to claim to be the sole channel. In that light what he said is completely different than what he meant. He never said it WAS presumptuous to make that claim. Just my 2¢ worth.

For the fourth year in a row attendance was down where I went. Average drop per year has been 10. That is a forty person drop. Nothing there to brag about.

Normally you and I are pretty well on the same page. However, in this case I wonder if the use of the word "may" is just as innocuous as every other use of "may" by WT where "may" and "should" become WT marching orders?
