something i've noticed is that marriage was the thing for those born before 2010. but today's culture of divorce laws slanted to favor women has forced men to think carefully before signing the marriage certificate.
most of my friends have no intentions of getting married.
all of them have gotten vasectomies, so there is no chance of being blamed for a pregnancy.
If I began to think I needed to be married, I would find a woman and give her my house, sign over my bank account and stock portfolio to her, buy her a couple cars and then ask some thug to beat the living Hell out of me, and I am pretty sure that would cure the desire.
TBH I think prostitution should be legal. At least even a high end escort will always be less costly than getting married.

It has only been the "woke" crowd and their constant whining about RAY-ZISM over the past couple years or so that has created in me a feeling of intense automatic dislike for anyone of a different DNA. I hear more JW women that talk about their husbands with the same kind of derogatory speech when their husbands are not present.
And of course David, that fine upstanding example for JW men today, true to form took Abigail as his wife because she was beautiful in form. Reminds me of some JW men who are now elders who have divorced their first wife in order to take the "she is a size 1" petite, wealthy, little blonde second wife.

One elder told me that Jehovah's people are a happy people and that if I'm not happy, I must be doing something wrong with my spiritual routine.
A few decades ago I heard pretty well the same garbage come spewing out of an elders pie-hole. The difference was that he accused me of committing a secret sin that was impeding holy spirit as the reason I was feeling depressed, and that to feel better I must confess that sin to the elders. Needless to say I didn't say a word to those wolves in sheep's clothing!
