Splane claimed that he did not know what was going to be said in the upcoming parts given by other governing body members?
Why is it that I 100% believe he was lying?
And IF he was not, and really did not know what any of them were going to say how can they claim that they work in unison?
15 years ago there were 5 congregations now there is only one and it is still struggling.
congregations closing their doors doesn’t mean business is good.
it looks like this last one to fold had no young witnesses, they either left the religion or moved.
I would never tolerate what the Witness religion has become.
I know I've mentioned it here before, shortly before she died my mother who was baptized in the early 40's, in one of her few and far between lucid moments stated, "If Jehovah's Witnesses were THEN what they have become NOW I would NEVER have become one!"

If you are "somebody" there is nothing you can do that will merit any punishment, as long as you are "repentant", or as one elder told me personally, "Just claim a moment of weakness, and then make a sizable $$$$$ contribution to the congregation. You'll get off with a slap on the wrist at the most."
On the other hand if you are just a chair warmer as the elders where I used to attend called anyone who was not "someone"; it won't matter how small the infraction is, you will never be "repentant" enough and will face the harshest of punishments from these Pharisees.
They are just imitating the examples in their Bible.

I heard from a PIMI friend that there was a letter read recently (perhaps just in the local circuit) about the return to in person circuit assemblies, and that there was a huge need for money. The "reminder" was that even though no assemblies had been scheduled or held for two and a half years that the costs for them had continued. WTF?? Even the PIMI person said they questioned that statement as there is no society owned assembly hall in this circuit that would need financial upkeep. So where did the cash go for those two and a half years? What were the expenses? No one seems to know or if they do will give an honest answer. It is all about the $$$$$ with this greedy corporation.

I have come to the conclusion that JW's, especially where sex is concerned, make accusations based 100% on projection.

i was bullied quite badly throughout my school years because of being a witness and not participating in religious holidays, sporting celebrations, assembly (worship), and the like.. it was mostly from other pupils but there were a couple of teachers who definitely treated me badly.
that was back when uk teachers still caned pupils or were allowed to hurl the heavy wooden blackboard duster across the room at them.... i still have ptsd flashbacks on some of those events even after 50 years!

In first grade I was bullied somewhat. I remember telling my father when he asked why I came home from school with two black eyes that Jesus said, "turn the other cheek."
My father told me that did not mean we must let ourselves be knocked around, and then ask to be knocked around some more or stand up for ourself. He did tell me though that I should not go looking for trouble, and that it took a bigger man to walk away from a fight than it did to engage in a fight. Then he told me IF someone insisted on making a fight physical and they took the first swing that I should make sure that I took the LAST swing. He told me that is wasn't anything to be ashamed of if one was forced into a fight to make sure you won by whatever means you had. Don't bother to fight clean son, fight to WIN!
That advice served me very well. And the thing I found was it did not take many fights until word got around to leave me alone.

This could give rise to a tendency toward creature worship, and Rutherford wanted to prevent this. So during his next visit he told Brother Balzereit that he could buy the rotary press but only on the condition that he shave off his beard and worshipfully copy rutherford's bare faced appearance instead.
