I see that again WT instructs elders to begin hounding the members about not forgetting the CONvention several months in advance, just like they think their members are a bunch of half-wit children. And of course they are told to subject the members to that god-awful white board cartoon video about CONvention reminders, again treating their members like special needs children. I'm glad I don't run that hamster wheel waste of time anymore!
someone else posted something a similar experience, this is one i had regarding my mom.my mom died last year.
she had been in failing health for years, but the last 2 year were pretty rough for her, with lots of visits to the hospital.
the last 4 months, it was the hospital, a skilled nursing facility/rehab unit, and finally, a nursing home.
Once a member of the hall stops showing up due to serious illness, unless they are part of some huge clan (we are not a huge clan in my family), then they are going to be forgotten.
I've made a number of references here on this site to the way my parents were treated by JW's in their final years. The JW's are some of the most hypocritical pieces of s--t that exist when they yap about "love". As my father said shortly before he died, "Jehovah's Witnesses have "love" on their lips, but NONE in their hearts!
Realistically though that happens in all religions. My uncle and aunt, both staunch Southern Baptists, who are 96 and 92 respectively no longer have any members of their church who come by any more. As my uncle said, "They have forgotten us."
on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.
Here is an off the wall thought. Maybe ol' Tony died. And instead of the usual "finished his earthly course" announcement WT did it the way they did as a method of jerking exJW's chains? Meanwhile they are sitting in their expensive office chairs laughing their a--es off at all the speculation.
BTW, he has not been scrubbed from their website. As of this morning there are 39 photos of him appearing in videos.

Hope is a lot like sitting in a rocking chair. You can spend a lot of time there, but never get anywhere. You need to get up and MAKE things happen. Hope will NEVER get anything done! For example, go sit in a chair and HOPE that you get noon dinner. Do nothing but HOPE for it, and you will get mighty hungry unless you get up and make your dinner.
hi does any body know if the watchtower are printing any new awakes etc as these past 8 months or so i have had magazines from four different carts from four different towns 100s of miles apart and the most recent magazines that they all had were from 2021..
I think I will invite several JW's over for supper. I will serve leftovers from a few months ago that have either been sitting out on the countertop or at the back of the refrigerator turning green. If it's good enough for their "spiritual" food it should be good enough for physical food.
IMO there are only two reasons WT makes any busybody decision. Legal liability of they do not, and $$$$$.

Incidents involving threats with an object or a weapon, or physical or verbal assault toward a publisher while engaged in theocratic activity are generally to be considered as hate- or prejudice-motivated crime.
I noticed this point. In many areas it is legally considered verbal assault to loudly swear at someone in public. I know it is in the area where I live. So now they can whine about persecution even more when an irate person tell them to GFY or to get the Hell off my porch and whimper about how hated they are.
I can hear it now. . .Lett with many goofy facial contortions saying, "We loooovve how hated and persecuted we are. It proves we are close to the end."
Yet children being victims of CSA will still be just a "sin"!

"he didn't have the experience to be doing the work he was doing," miss brown said.. "he took full payment for the extension in advance, which we believe to be more than £30,000.".
@Biahi I had that happen to me years ago when I contracted with a "brother" to build a new house for me. Contract called for a 60 day completion to qualify for the home loan I had applied for. I lost the lower interest loan. When I sold the place and moved three years later the damned place STILL wasn't complete, and the eldurrs in that congregation threatened me with getting DF'd if I took him to court. He was sued by several non-JW home buyers, and lost every time. He was more crooked than a corkscrew. Looking back I should have sued him to Hell and back, and forgot the hamster wheel then instead of later.

an elder, a co, some especially selected person from the branch under whose purview this sort of thing is maintained?.
what is the procedure?.
What about in the USA? Who turns up at the will reading to represent the WT?
In my case no one. I was legally and ethically bound to inform WT of the death and they had a copy of the will. Both parents had stipulated that everything would go to the surviving spouse. So everything went to my father when my mom died. When he died I was working at having him transfer his financial holdings into joint accounts with me listed as joint owner. He died before I could get the final one in a joint account. Otherwise at his death they all became mine legally and ethically. Sadly the one I was not able to get completed before he died netted WT a tidy high six figure payout, for which their only response was, "Is that all there is? Can we expect more?" I was able to truthfully tell them, "NO!!" as the rest was mine, and I will never give WT one thin dime!
