  if the wording & context of a scripture is dismissed at the outset, then every statement and assumption which follows is implicititly false.

  in the very first study article, the gibbering body continues to indoctrinate the sheeple to accept that over 500 people met jesus on the mountain - despite the blatant fact that 1 corinthians 15:6 says absolutely nothing about the 500 people being anywhere near galilee!

  (matthew 28:16-20) however, the 11 disciples went to galʹi·lee to the mountain where jesus had arranged for them (the 11 disciples) to meet.

  Another perhaps small point I would ask them is IF the reference to elders in Jerusalem being the first century governing body as the basis for the eight JW governing body today, why did the entire congregation in Jerusalem have authority to make a decision and who exactly does THAT apply to today?

  and if you call someone a bitch , you would be fined 150 dollars the first offense and second is 200 plus possible jail time..

  I would never call someone a bitch...I would just say that when their kids come home for a visit the mother runs out from under the porch and bites them in the ankle.

  #Persecution selfies: what do you think?

  so apparently the new watchtower russia exhibition features a pretend cell for jws to take pretend "persecution selfies' and wallow in the glorious suffering that is essential for watchtower theology to work - yet is strikingly missing from the lives of 99% of witnesses.. in fact most governments go to great lengths to protect the rights of witnesses, spending millions in public funds either directly to watchtower - in the form of grants ( norway, germany etc) - in various types of tax relief, or in the money spent in court cases establishing watchtowers rights and freedoms (& protecting their kids, whether they know it or not).. i'm interested to know how everyone feels about this...particularly terry walstrom and other guys who have spent time in jail in the name of watchtower's freedom of conscience.

  personally i think it reeks of desperation by watchtower and is another example of the type of fantasizing that witnesses regularly indulge in.. also....funny how the end is soooo close that they've had time to build a museum of watchtower history!!

  anyone else see the irony in that?!

  The Dubs need to quit the phony persecution play acting and hire REAL guards, with REAL machine guns, to use REAL clubs to beat the living hell out of them if they REALLY want to immerse themselves in this twisted persecution "experience".

  Well we all KNOW that only Jehovahs Witlesses speak the truth. So it would follow that anything that a non-Jehovahs Witless says would HAVE to be a lie. So we must NEVER listen to what anyone other than baptized, preferably appointed elders, have to say as everything else said is A LIE and we must cover our ears against them!
  

  I wonder if they would get the sarcasm? Probably not. Of course I seldom show up anymore, and on the very few occasions I do I no longer get called on to comment. No great loss.

  I noticed the comment to eldurrs that the Congregation "Bible" Study has been adjusted to 30 minutes or less. After the assigned material has been thoroughly covered, there is no need to prolong the study.

  HALLELUJAH!!! It was downright painful to listen to those wannabe "teachers" trying to drag out the already boring study.

  in the race for life christians must not give up or be distracted by , among other things, postponed expectations .

  hmm, what is the difference between expectations, predictions or prophecy?
