  a comment on another thread cracked me up where the poster related what some elder said on the platform that: .

  i’ve heard so much speculation from many jw’s on what will and won’t be allowed in the new system.

  It was announced that over 200,000 witnesses have had COVID and over 5000 had died worldwide

  And where I am there is a holier than thou pompous ass eldurr who always manages to shoe-horn in the comment that "obedience to The Slave, and The Branch will protect Gee-HO'-Vuh's people from contracting the illness, and thereby SAVE THEIR LIVES!"

  So did those unfortunates who got COVID-19, and especially those that died show disobedience? Or was it just unforeseen circumstance? Will they be posthumously disfellowshipped for a "brazen" attitude? The more I hear and see of these men the more I hate them!

  One of the goofiest speculations I heard was that JW's who live in "paradise" will no longer have any pets.

  The reason? Animals are not perfect and do not have the hope of living forever. They will die. If pets were allowed people would get attached to them just as they do now, and when the pet died they would feel sad, and perhaps even shed tears. As Revelation 21: 4 says God will wipe out every tear from their eyes. . . neither will mourning be anymore. So the loss of a pet would cause something that God would not allow, so there would not be pets in "paradise".

  Another almost as goofy was that if a person were chopping wood, and the axe slipped and buried itself in their leg they would not feel any pain from the injury. Used the same scripture in Revelation to prove that point.

  There is NOTHING social about isolation. No matter how one tries to spin it. I have had opportunity to use the term 'disfellowshipped' to describe "social" distancing/isolation they are promoting as obedience to The Slave or The Branch when I sometimes speak to JW's in my area. When they trot out the "but The Branch and the governing body have told us to socially isolate.distance ourselves," I ask them what part of Proverbs 18: 1 The Branch and governing body use to back that up.

  Anything I can do anymore to "tweak" them and make them uncomfortable in their belief system is fine by me.

  Note: The only reason I put caps on the branch or the slave is because that is how they speak of them, as if it is the words of God himself.

  Contested Presidential elections, Political parties, and Human Nature.

  whether it’s a republican or a democrat that will become president, one thing to keep in mind is the winner regardless of his political affiliation- is still human.

  and as a human, we can be selfless, altruistic, self-sacrificing, rational, and merciful, and at the same time we can be malicious, unforgiving, a moral hypocrite, dehumanize certain groups of people, and worse of all, have psychopathic traits.

  so the best we can do is research the policies of “both” political parties, figure out what polices each party is planning to implement, determine which policies will be for our benefit, and which policies will harm us.

  Agreed! Was it not the left that kept clamoring for Trumps' tax returns and spewing the "if you have nothing to hide" crap? If the democrats truly did not commit election fraud they have noting to hide, and therefore no reason to be afraid of an investigation, at least that is the charge they (the democrats for those of you wonder who "they" are) leveled at Trump for the last four years.

  If the investigation shows this up as a legitimate vote, that would solidify their foundation for Buy-dems election would it not?

  No I don't think it's over yet either...they're saying that Biden may win the popular vote by close to 6 million & the electoral vote by over 300...Yup...I agree I don't think this is over.

  I would not be surprised if the left keeps counting until they get EVERY LAST DAMNED ELECTORAL VOTE OUT THERE!

  case in point; everyone involved in the russian conspiracy.

  Biden won by more than 65 electoral votes over Trump, putting some rational thinking to the matter.

  Do you mean like the states where the total count stood at 0% and 0% and the media called them for Buy-dem? Or the states where the percentage had Trump up by a 2 to 1 margin and they claimed it was "too early to call"? Or perhaps the states which on Tuesday night were solidly RED and their electoral votes in the Trump column, and suddenly in the middle of the night they flipped the total opposite and were given to Biteme?

  I don't honestly know! After all who would have ever wanted the lowest unemployment of blacks? The lowest unemployment of Hispanics? Rising value of stock holdings? After all isn't HIGH unemployment of minorities better? Isn't losing half ones investment portfolio much better under the left? Isn't sitting on ones ass doing nothing except bitching about not getting enough free shit better?

  Only a person of very low intellect votes strictly on the basis of "personality". I didn't care if Trump was boorish, spoke his mind when silence may have been better. Everything that made being a LEGAL citizen of The United States of America something to be proud of grew under Trump's administration. I refuse to follow the sheep to the bread line of welfare that Slo-joe and his garden tool is promising.
