  JULY 2025 STUDY WT How to Give Advice

  i scanned this article and i saw a theme throughout it.

  when info like this shows up in the study wt, you can be sure the elders are doing it wrong and the wts hits directly on what it is.

  older elders do it wrong and train by word and action the newer elders to do it wrong.

  You may have strong personal opinions on the matter, but you have no medical qualifications or training in dealing with the illness. Consider another reason why we should be careful when giving advice to someone: We could share responsibility if our counsel causes someone to make a decision that brings on negative consequences.

  Like the governing body "doctors" who damned near demanded that every JW get the COVID jab as if God himself came to earth and whispered that mandate in their ears. Have they ever taken responsibility for the deaths and illness that are now being recognized as side effects of the jab for gullible JW's that believed every "inspired" utterance from their mouths?   Green Handshakes - Taxable income in Australia

  i was doing some research on the taxable status of money being gifted to co’s and travelling missionaries and was surprised with what i found.

  i had assumed that it was not taxable income in australia.. it is taxable income in australia and it‘s likely that the same rules apply in some other countries.. a registered religious institution only receives tax free status on donations because they have been endorsed by the australian tax office.

  travelling overseas and missionaries are not in this category.. there’s a tax ruling that goes into great detail.

  But then how does that state keep track of items you buy to catch you not paying that tax?

  In my state it is pretty much the same thing. The state relies upon the honesty of their citizens. It is disgusting the number of JW's, the most honest citizens alive according to them, that even if they know about this law refuse to honor it.

  Sisters can now wear pants. Any more important changes

  alot of my witness friends were excited sisters can now wear pants and you can say hi to disfellowshiped folks but what about important stuff child molesters in the congregation you need 2 witnesses blood fractions are fine but not whole blood????

  607 bce is from the 1880s wrong....anything else?

  Oh my -- hope she wears appropriate fitting attire to the meetings

  I've seen it with my own eyes (dammit!). That is to meetings. In street clothes she is even more exposed with her "spanx" as Morris called it.

  We are living in the last days and times will get tough? What??? Who knew....? Obviously, the solution is to: 1. Do more field service 2. Attend more WT meetings 3. Send all your money to the Watchtower organization. Problem solved...

  Whether they are declaring it or not is another question.

  No other question about it in my experience. They NEVER report it. In fact I was called in the back room back in the day when I still attended by an elder for stating in a meeting comment that state sales tax by law was to be reported to the state I lived in for durable goods purchased in a neighboring state which had no sales tax to comply with Caesars law. The "brothers" would routinely travel to that state to buy high cost items for themselves and others who placed orders in order to evade sales tax in this state. He said I was stirring up contentions.

  AND I MUST ADD -- I did not hear "this may be the last time we do this . . . ."

  Like you I made an apprentice to keep friends happy. I heard, "The time is so short we may not have more than one or two memorials left. In fact if you follow what's happening in the news world wide this could very well be the last one we ever have this side of the new world. So it is very important you take the needed steps to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses before it is too late."

  I have a question: Can sisters wear tight pants?

  Of course. There is an elduhhs woman where I live that wears tight pants, tight skirts, tight blouses, and they all are tight enough you can see every cellulite dimple, bra and panty strap or seam, but to be fair she would have to go to the local tent and awning store to get clothes large enough to cover her short yet VERY wide frame.

  the july 2025 watchtower has a paragraph that claims that it was the superior power and wisdom of jehovah that guided the gb into allowing jws to grow beards.. the study article is ‘can you still learn from basic bible teachings?’ under the subheading ‘jehovah is the creator’ paragraph 7 states-.

  And when those instructions arrive, they must be accepted as if descending from Sinai itself, even when they contradict what was once taught as sacred.

  All the JW males (I refuse to call them MEN) seem to now be sporting beards, no matter how unkempt and ragged lookiing they are. The term I bleieve was used earlier in this thread was infantilism, which describes these older in years males who are still emotional children.

  Can someone remind me the reason's you could be disfellowshipped?

  the only reasons i can remember are smoking, sexual immorality and of course, apostasy.

  there must be others but having been out since 1990, i'm drawing a blank.

  i was thinking perhaps serious criminal offenses that result in prison, but then i remembered a brother in my congregation in the 1980's who went to prison.

  As said earlier, you can be disfellowshipped for ANYTHING three elduhs can agree on; and if they don't have a specific charge they will lump in in under the "brazen conduct" term and boot your ass out.

  Special Talk just prior to the Memorial

  is the sunday special talk prior to the memorial just an introduction of a new outline for the sunday public talks?.

  is it an attempt to get the faders back to the meetings?

  they present in a way like some new light is going to be presented at the special talk..

  It was "Special"! It was given on April 6th, not the 5th or the 7th.

  And there was the typical talk about, "ask anyone here for a Bible study" and "go to jw-dot-org" and "come to the Memorial."
