I am serious.
Is it kind of an unofficial rule to not talk about the deaths? Or is it just my hall.
i was interviewed yesterday by stephen smith at the cbc.
he would also like to interview other current and former jws, along with any elders or hlc members who are questioning the blood policy.here is his contact information:stephen smithweb journalistcbc montreal1-141-62251-514-597-6225email: [email protected] you think you might be a good candidate, you may contact him directly.
he has agreed to maintain anonymity for those who need it.thanks,lee.

the statement in the article "who is leading gods people today?
" in the feb 17th study edition of the wt is very interesting.. it states: ""the g.b.
is neither inspired nor infallible" ..we can err .in doctrinal matters....".
I know this isn't a very popular opinion around here but when the WTS makes a statement this stupid , it's just done out of mockery.
There is a spiritual realm and dark forces at work and they are just making fun of the rank and file.
why were we ever a jw?
were we mad?
we must have been .... well, my excuse is that i knew nothing else.
My story is in the late 60s and early 70s my family (grandparents) were part of the United Church of Canada. It use to be the biggest denomination in Canada.
Then it took a real liberal turn. First termister abortion was OK, having gay Members, gay ministers etc etc.
My uncles were turned on to the WTS because they were hard asses about the Bible.
All those ruined lives over good intentions.

I know a few hard-core families that got sucked in after ww2. The things these men went though and saw, they were really attracted to the pacifist angle of the WTS.
Of course there was no such as PTSD in those days. You either got lost in alcohol or religion.

There has been two jw women in the last two weeks die giving birth in Canada, yet there hasn't been a peep about it my hall. It's also all over the news.
It seems odd for an organization that preaches martyrdom all the time, they sure don't seem to want to talk about it when it happens.
Or is it just my hall?
so if the gb changed its "bible based beliefs" on some teaching, would witnesses all of a sudden change their individual beliefs too?.
witnesses like to claim that "their bible trained hearts and minds" make them believe as they do, but we know that the reality is that all witnesses hold their "deep seated beliefs" according to what they have been told to believe.. so what would cause the average witness to question those that dictate their "personal convictions"??.
thoughts?.
I am still floored they just accept the new understanding of the faithful slave. The WTS always danced around the cult issue with the anointed class.
(We are not a cult because cults they small groups of human leaders. Are leadership is jehovah God and his annoited remnant).
Then they fired the remnant and no one even cared. It's like they just gave up pretending they weren't a cult.
i would like to say i am not in and my wife is a marginal witness at best.
she doesn't say anything bad about the borg or live an amoral lifestyle.
she just doesn't read the bible, or even the tracts anymore and generally has no clue about anything biblical or doctorial related.. i found my wives new card yesterday.
Something I find kind of funny while researching the subject is there is an old blood card that goes into much more detail about rights and fractions and such.
It had a section about childbirth and mothers rights over the fetus and actually sited a Planned Parenthood ruling.
My jaw just dropped.
The only true religion sited a court case by the world biggest abortion provider just sited Planned Parent.
Unfreaking believable
I really wish I could find it again.

I think appointing yourself in a legal position over a person without consulting immediate family first is really unacceptable.

I found my wives new card yesterday. I know for years she didn't actually have one. The part that really pissed me off is there was provision for alternative health care agent or something and it was signed by one of the uber elders. I have no words to describe how pissed off I am that in the event of accident or injury that this man would get a phone call before me. I also know in no way shape or form was this her idea. We have had many personal tragedies happen to us and we decided it was best if no witnesses especially the elders were to know.
Of course I know the reason she wouldn't ask me ( because my view on the borg is quite well known to her). Its this elder who signed card that has really has me pissed off. Having power of attorney over another mans wife really seems to be personally and legally crossing a line. I am actually talking to a lawyer next week about estate planning and getting our wills done. God knows whatever else they are involved in my life.
I just wonder is there a copy of this card in the KH and would I create more problems for my wife if I were to talk this man. I am really pissed off right now.
and how long will it last?
and who will come after that, yahweh, as the old testament says or jesus, as the new testament says?
the scriptures say he'll come to the mount of olives, but surely that's a spiritual mount of olives.
Armageddon is generally understood in Evangelical circles that Russia with an alliance of Muslim countries would attack the modern day of Israel and Jesus returns and ends it. Ironically this was taught long before the Syrian civil war and Russian involvement in the Middle East.
God, this kind of thing must piss off the uppers at Brooklynn. Watching events unfold that doesn’t involve them.
Mind you, I don’t really take that kind of stuff to serious. There is so many ways to twist the scriptures.
