  I also read the book of romans and acts chapter by chapter first in an NIV and then in the NWT and realized they basically created a new religion.

  Especially Romans, there is basically no understanding of the basic Christian message.

  I was watching some videos by a bible scholar named Michael Heiser about Jesus in the Old Testament.

  I didn’t know throughout the Old Testament the phrase “ the word of the lord appeared “. Kind of a physical manifestation of god.

  “ in the beginning was the word “.

  “ my one has ever seen god only the son”.

  tetragramation being quoted applies to Christ .

  It appears Jesus was jehovah of the Old Testament and or jehovah was more than one thing or Jesus become the equal of calling on the name of god.

  Who knows. All I know for sure Is WTS theology requires ignoring what is happening in the Old Testament and editing the New Testament.
  

  It just occurred to me how ridiculously uneducated it all was.

  My wife refuses to use any birth control and the last thing I would want is a pregnancy right now, even though we are at an age it would take a miracle for that to happen.

  I just look at what is happening in LA right now and think my god, what would it be like to be a women six months pregnant. Would there even be a doctor or room for you right now.

  If Covid ends, sadly I think the WTS will spring right back. At least the WTS tried to keep their members safe unlike other churches in the US.

  Covid has really shown how black and ugly the hearts of some of the evangelicals in the US are.

  I think Americans need to stop telling themselves how free they are all the time. Like if I don't get to publicly deny the holocaust or kill a baby growing inside a womens womb at 30 weeks or wear a mask and follow public health guidelines, somehow I will not be free.

  So What Religion do You Claim to be when Entering Hospital?

  i've had a few medical procedures.

  once, i had a massive loss of blood and needed 6 units of blood to replace the loss.

  however, i'm curious as to what ex's state to be their religion when filling out the required paperwork when being admitted into a hospital.

  a critical care nurse at chattanooga's memorial hospital bites the dust 17 minutes after taking the covid shot while being interviewed thursday on live tv.

  in all fairness, she later said this happens to her often after experiencing pain.
