Shooting the works
by seven006 ini have never posted to the maximum daily post limit (25) since i have been on this board.
i am working on a 3d illustration and my other computer is slowly grinding it out which makes it inaccessible to me until it's done.
it has been rendering for 3 hours now and has about another 4 hours before it is finished.

by AGuest inhad someone well-respected like:the mutual friend whom everyone loves... orthe teacher whom everyone loves... orthe boss/co-workers whom everyone loves... orthe elder/po/elder's wife/po's wife whom everyone loves... orthe pioneer sister whom everyone loves... orthe young handsome ms whom everyone loves.... say something to you... that they wouldn't in a million years say to anyone else... or cop to when the matter is presented to them because they could not bear to have folks know they really think that way?
so that when it all is brought forth, you are made to look like the trouble-maker because you said that such one said something they indeed did say... and yet, in the face of those who "love and respect" them, vehemently deny it?
or have you had others, including perhaps one of those above, say you said something you didn't say, not necessarily because they misunderstood you, but more truthfully because they heard what they wanted to hear... rather than what you were saying... because their minds... and hearts... were in a whole different place... a place where they were trying to find something "against" you so that they could say, "aha!

she will be going under general anesthesia to have more biopsies done.. i know its always scary to "go under.

H20 vs JWD
by Amazing inh20 was a smashing success for a long time, even with many moderators.
the board rules were basically good common sense, and expressed some issues as to matters of law, such as not violating copyright, etc.
i don't understand why h20 went down the tank.

Devaluing People
by Magog inis it possible that when we see posters get upset, and then leave, that they feel devalued by the group?.
when we leave the witnesses, are we not devalued as apostates by those who remain witnesses, some of whom are lifelong friends?.
could it be when we find a place like this, we discover again that we are valued, so that anything threatening that sense of belonging hurts too much as a reminder of our exit from the witnesses?.
