  IIRC, it is 3rd century graffiti, intended as an insult to Christians. It shows the Christian God (Jesus) portrayed as a donkey nailed to a cross.

  Elders are taught to research what "the slave says" about a matter, rather than to do Bible research.

  Can non JWs be witnesses in a committee meeting?

  i am not sure but i know where non jws have been brought in for a witness to a judicial meeting.

  what is the official policy on this?

  Non-JWs can be used as eyewitnesses to establish the "two witness" bit. But as noted above, it's as "witness for the prosecution" only.

  The judicial committee is primarily there to cast judgment on the "genuineness" of the repentance of the accused, as if that were somehow possible.

  EDIT: Just got to add, I would think that inviting a "worldly" person to a JW judicial committee would be the number one, absolutely fool-proof method to inoculate that "worldly person" from ever joining the JW nuthouse.

  keep in mind that this is one of the relatives that is a true believer and used every excuse you can think of for the cancellation of all kingdom hall meetings.

  did you know that noah entered the ark in the end part of november and also that jesus' followers flead jerusalem around 25th of november 66ce?.

  could it be that a significant group of jehovah's witnesses would begin to flee to the "wilderness" in the end of november?

  revelation 12 speaks about a flight of a symbolic woman to a wilderness.

  Why build a new movie studio when we are in the last part of the last part of the last day?

  At the same time, they'll ignore the fact that all the studios and printing facilities of the world could also be intact and at their disposal and they don't need to build this new one.

  Ha! Good one.

  Somehow God always seems to forgetting stuff he could have done.

  Like how, during the flood, he miraculously caused 100% of the earth's vegetation to survive being fully immersed is saltwater for a year, but he couldn't similarly miraculously cause the same sort of miracle for animal life - no, they all had to go into a big boat to be saved.
