Thatâs all over Reddit now.
The funny part is, the original photo comes from the âGodâs Kingdom Rulesâ book, published in 2014. The original had Guy Pierce in the middle and Morris on the right.
They just keep photoshopping that same photo over and over. Later they published it after they took out Pierce when he died. Later in another publication there was the same photo with Cook plunked in.
Now they publish yet again the same photo but with Morris pulled out and Fleegle & Winder smushed in.
It really says something when the GB canât even be arsed enough to take a new picture together, but instead they keep photoshopping the same pic over & over & over again.
Iâm not sure what it says, but it sure says it!
i been reading quite a few experiences on reddit lately, and their seems to be a common theme coming upâŚ.
âŚdialed-up-to-eleven shunning of xjws by their witness relatives.. it reminds me of back in the day, listening to some of the over-the-top vitriol displayed by hard-core loyalists when the topic of evolution or apostates came upâŚ.
âŚi was gobsmacked when i finally realized these guys werenât offended and indignant because they thought it was liesâŚ.
I think you nailed it.
Some of the most hysterically vicious comments Iâve ever heard were JWs ranting, sometimes at a meeting, sometimes in a private setting, about either gays or evolution.
Itâs interesting, I never heard such utter vile disgust directed toward, say, murderers or drug dealers or child pornographers, etc. Just solely directed toward, as you noted, persons or concepts that very likely, on some level, they hoped were wrong but maybe werenât.
six minute video of wtbt$ begging for money, now on jwborg website.

"thank you for 'setting something aside'" robert butler.
Yeah, used to be, when they still printed Watchtowers 24 times a year, every October there was an article with âloving remindersâ on how you could donate lots of your $$$$$$ to the WT.
Theyâd remind how faithful and loyal you would be to donate your stocks, bonds, jewelry, real estate, etc. over to them, and how you could set up a trust to benefit them, or give them your entire estate upon your demise in your will, etc.
It was like clockwork for decades - âOctober? Time to insert the give-us-money articleâ.
Now of course most of the content of the Watchtower is filled up with study articles so there isnât room for a printed give-us-your-money article, so instead they did this video.
They always did it in October, I figured, as a reminder to the handful of wealthy American JWs to send in their money, while there was still time for it to count as a tax deduction (to âcharityâ) before the end of the year.
Same old, same old, the usual message in a new format.
as soon as you see steve letts talk at the agm you think to yourself âoh my, whatâs happened to him?.
his hand has plasters and his skin doesnât look healthy, like he has inflammation or something serious going on.. he had put on weight and is all bloated and puffy .
his skin really doesnât look good, the kind of inflammation many people notice after the experimental covid vaccines.. there have been very high numbers of people reported inflammation after the experimental covid vaccines.
Let has had the âpuffyâ look of someone who has been on prescribed steroids (for example Prednisone) for many years. Itâs frequently used to treat arthritis.
His fingers, when not encased in bandages, have the look of bratwursts. I suspect he has major issues with arthritis in his hands.
Pretty much all of the old guys (Herd, Lett, Jackson, Splane) are looking noticeably more haggard these days.
1. doctrinal changes how new light comes about.
the gb raise questions then talk about it, unless itâs unanimous they wait, then years later talk again if itâs unanimous it then gets announced as new light.. 2. the gb are imperfect and sometimes make mistakes.
they are not to apologise or even admit they were wrong.
statistics about how many people die and are born each day. â-Is it reasonable for us to say that Jehovah and Jesus immediately label those of goats even though they have not had a full opportunity to respond? Is it possible those may be resurrected as righteous persons? An upcoming watchtower will give us all the details on this.
This is exactly the point that âapostatesâ have been making for decades.
Each day that Armageddon delays, there are 100s of thousands more newborn infants who would have to be âlovinglyâ slaughtered by Jesus and his 144,000 horsemen.
Unless, somehow, Jehovah determines that such an action wouldnât be âlovingâ after all.
But then, it is completely inconsistent to spare an infant who has ânot had the opportunity to know Jehovahâ but yet slaughter a child, a teen, or even an adult who has had literally 0 contact with any JW in their âministryâ.
To be consistent, Jehovah would have to âread heartsâ at Armageddon, sparing those who had a âgood heartâ.
But what if someone with a âgood heartâ had a bad day when the JWs happened to pop around, and he didnât listen? He would have been better off not getting a witness at all, and just depending on Jehovahâs mercy, right?
But that being the case, isnât it safer, even more loving, to not give a witness at all? Just let Jehovah read everyoneâs heart?
So whatâs the point in giving a witness at all then?
These bozos are really floundering. They are just completely clueless about what they teach, and why.
What an absolute mess.
At least in the old days, the message was coherent. It was spectacularly wrong, based on wild speculation and outright guesses using out of context scriptures, but at least it was internally consistent and occasionally entertaining.
Now though, we get the governing bumbleheads thrashing about, not even bothering to try to make it make sense.
Sometimes people on this forum make jokes about the gb suddenly grabbing suitcases full of cash and jetting off to the Cayman Islands. I laugh along with everyone else. But maybe thatâs no so far fetched after all?
so everyone knows the âbig newsâ of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.
beginning november 1, jws just tick a box indicating whether they âshared in any form of the ministry during the monthâ.. so there was a brief comment by a redditor that seems like a brief joke âthrowaway commentâ but after thinking about itâŚ.why not?.
the idea is, what is âany form of the ministryâ?
this change would make me tape a tract to my car window, mark âactiveâ
LOL.
Any of you old-timers remember riding in the family car on the way to the summer convention, and the excitement when you saw some other car with a Watchtower taped to the inside of the rear window?
There you go, another way to âlegitimatelyâ check the âactiveâ box next month.
so everyone knows the âbig newsâ of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.

they can claim over 8 million active members worldwide. Thus making their retention figures look better for a while
Yeah, in the short term, it gooses the numbers a little. Maybe they even hit 9 million in the next year or 2.
But the actual amount of real ministry will plummet. All those â20 hourâ publishers will now be â4 hourâ publishers. All the current â4 hourâ publishers will now become â2 minuteâ publishers.
Theyâre not going to keep track of hours anymore, but if they did? Hours would be, what? 20% of the current amount? 10%? Less?
Over the past 3 years, hours plummeted and new baptisms plummeted even farther. What will baptism numbers look like 3 or 5 years down the road (if they still publish them)?
Without enough new baptized members, and with mortality affecting the remaining demographically aged JW population ever more strongly, the numbers will inevitably drop.
i know they are reacting to <something>, and they likely have some sort of plan to keep the game going, but at this point it just feels like they are throwing in the towel.

The idea is, what is âany form of the ministryâ? Donât JWs teach that âgiving a witnessâ is pretty much âtalking about any âspiritualâ topic with someone who is not a baptized JWâ?
So, at a congregation meeting, there is almost certainly going to be at least a few unbaptized JW kids. Virtually any meeting will have kids in attendance.
So, if I make a comment at the WT study, or the CBS, or any other meeting, arenât I publicly expressing my faith within the hearing of unbaptized people?
So if I make any comment at a congregation meeting, arenât I engaged in âany formâ of witnessing? So if I just answer a question, canât I go ahead and check the box?
iâll go even one better. Isnât just raising my hand a form of âgiving a witnessâ? Unbaptized people see that I want to âexpress my faithâ, and that in itself should count as a âwitnessâ, right? Iâm evidently willing to say something, and all these unbaptized kids in the audience will say to themselves âwow, he has faith and wants to express itâ. Voila, witness given, and I can check the box for that month.
So all you PIMOs out there - want to stay in good graces as an âactive publisherâ until you finalize your exit plan? Just shoot your hand up a second or 2 after the conductor has picked someone else to comment, and you can legitimately đ¤ âcheck the boxâ.
is it just me, or did the âbrain trustâ at Warwick not really think this through? They have effectively made âactive publisherâ so easy to accomplish that it is now an utterly meaningless designation.
looks like we can expect a kinder, gentler jehovah and jesus during the great tribulation.
the door will not be closed to all non jws at the start of the tribulation.
but will have time to repent after false religion is destroyed.
Is the idea that it may not be too late for people to repent after the GT starts found in recent WT publications?
I found this in the WT October 2019, page 9:
âBesides staying awake ourselves, we also want to help others wake up to what the Bible foretold would happen in the world. Let us remember that once the great tribulation begins, it will be too late for people to turn to Jehovah. That is why our preaching work is so urgent!â
Which is obviously exactly opposite of what they just said on Saturday.
So at the meeting 10/7, they contradicted both points in this paragraph:
â people can âturn to Jehovahâ after the GT starts
â that being the case, and not bothering to count hours anymore, in what sense is the preaching work âurgentâ?
That WT is only 4 years old. It undoubtedly takes them a long time to formulate and articulate changes in doctrine, so likely not long after this article was released, they were working on the change.
