It doesn't matter what the WT publishes. Really it doesn't matter one bit. What it boils down to is LOYALTY to the WTS, no matter what. They can lie their faces off, they can harbor pedophiles, they can belong to the UN as an NGO for 10 years without letting JWs know about it, they can allow wives to be abused by their husbands and children by their parents, as long as they are loyal to the WTS, it's all good as far as JWs are concerned.

like most here was able to pick out all the lies, deceptions and utter rediculousness of wt trying to say..."we didn't have it right before and we admitt it, but boy, we sure got it right now, even though we never have had anything right before".....you know....so fast forward to dinner with my sadly very mentally ill mother, who for lack of any intellect in the past was a very emotionally, mentally and physically abusive to me and my siblings, and a mental specimen of exactly what wt wants out of its adherents, leans to me and says, "the wt lately has been admitting how they have had things wrong in the past, it really is refreshing to see the changes which tell us how close we are.

I'm guessing that the move to using endnotes instead of footnotes is because they can slip stuff in there "officially" yet know that most people won't bother checking them.
It could also be to give the appearance of producing a scholarly work, like scientific journals do. We know better, though, don't we?

Yes, it was "my choice" to drop out of college at 18 and start working for a Brother™, when my mother constantly nagged about how expensive my schooling was (tuition was covered, the only thing to pay for was books and transportation).
Yes, it was "my choice" to "smarten up and get Baptized™" at 17 when my mother threatened to blackmail me over her imaginings about my sexual liasons with secret boyfriends (there weren't any) and report me to the Elders™ and then kick me out of the house.
When a gun is being held to your head, any choice "you" make is one made under duress. It's not voluntary. It's not "your" choice. It's "their" choice, and they've bullied you into making it "your" choice.
And yes, surprise, surprise, my mother has no recollection of what a complete b!tch she was to me.

It's interesting that they tell JWs "not to be quickly shaken from your reason" after repeating the same interpretations for years and years, but then all of a sudden, they publish a bunch of doctrinal reversals in the July 15, 2013 Watchtower, expecting everyone to just say "Oh okay, so let's believe this now. No problem."

Just when I thought it was over I get a phone call
by label licker inone of the families in the hall called me last night and let another piece of the puzzle out.
apparently there was another family that we don't even know who had gotton a phone call from these jerk off elders down here questioning them about us and what they knew.
