  Bloodless surgery is NOT suitable for all patients or in all situations.

  As an RN, I am well aware of this fact. However, that doesn't mean that a JW has the "right" to have surgery performed on them bloodlessly by a surgeon whose ethical position is that the particular surgery has a heightened risk of requiring blood transfusion.

  It's the reverse of the situation where JWs fought for the right to abstain from saying the Pledge of Allegiance or singing the National Anthem in school. The surgeon is refusing to be bullied into operating on someone who is placing restrictions on his expertise.

  also, whether they would consider using 'worldly' expertise when assessing potential risk?.

  why was spinks questioned as to whether the organisation should use professionals to assess whether a pedophile is fit to rejoin the jw community (or whether they are still a danger), let alone be reappointed.. and yet jackson, one of the policy makers in the org, was not even spoken to about pedophiles being judged as 'repentant' and even safe to be reappointed, by incompetent elders??.

  Following the model of first-century Christianity, Jehovah’s Witnesses have no clergy-laity division. All baptized members are ordained ministers and share in the preaching and teaching work.

  An "ordained minister" is automatically someone who has a measure of trust within a congregation. An "ordained minister" is someone people respect. In the case of young children, parents generally afford much higher levels of trust to someone who is a bona fide member of the congregation due to the assumption that all members are "ordained ministers".

  Therefore, it does not matter whether a person is appointed as an Elder™, Ministerial Servant™, or Pioneer™. The fact that a Reinstated™ person is permitted to re-join the ranks of "ordained ministers" with all the rights and Privileges™ associated with that, regardless of any court mandated restrictions (such as not associating with children), puts vulnerable people at risk.

  Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

  i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

  the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

  the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

  I have to wonder, since one has to be approved as an Unbaptized Publisher™ before they can qualify for Baptism™, this screening process will apply to people who wish to be Baptized™, before they even go through the Baptism Questions™ with the Elders™.

  I don't see how it would apply to UBM (Unbelieving Mates™) though. They generally don't participate in the Ministry™ and are not considered Ministers™ or even one of Jehovah's Witnesses, per se; though they do have access to children at Meetings™ and at social functions where children are likely present. Parents likely discourage close contact with UBMs anyway.

  Why do the GB fear this so much? Is it just money? Or is something else going on?

  They are already in dire straits as far as having enough Qualified™ men to serve in the Congregations™, as Elders™, Ministerial Servants™ and Pioneers™.

  On top of that, every JW believes themselves to be a Minister™, Ordained™ by virtue of their Baptism™ - it's what they tell Candidates™ during the Baptismal Talk™. So that would require every Baptized™ JW, male and female, who participates in the Door-to-Door™ Ministry™ to undergo the screening process.

  People who are child abusers would be disqualified from participating in the Ministry™, where there would be a power differential between them and children with whom they might interact. They could be forbidden to Teach™ from the Platform™, offer prayers at Meetings™, give talks on the Ministry School™ or even give answers at Book Study™ or Watchtower Study™, etc. because there are children present at these Meetings™ who might view these individuals as wholesome association.

  A screening process like this would cost each individual a nominal fee - it's about $50 where I'm from. It could be bloody expensive for a family that includes five Baptized™ members.
