"we were just talking...shes not free to remarry...we werent flirting or doing anything wrong"
by WuzLovesDubs inthats what my soon to be exhusband just said to me.
i finally after 25 years of dealing with him and the jws and a litany of other shit, told him two weeks ago i want out.
he wrote me a letter this week and made a list of allllll the things he hates: about my beliefs, the fact that i left jehovah, broke my vows to god, my hobbies, celebrations, what i watch on tv, my parenting, keeping the kids out of the jws, not having any friends....and then said well i dont hate "you".

Hey sweetie! I've been wondering what you've been up to lately! It's nice to see you, though I'm sorry for the crap you're going through.
I had to laugh at him saying "I don't plan on staying single long".
Tell him you plan on working on yourself and building up your self esteem after being married to such a lousy excuse for a husband for such a long time. You have no plans on getting involved with anyone for a longgggggggggggg time. Ask him how long he can hold his dick breath waiting to be Scripturally Free To Remarry™. LMAO!!!
you!

To all Witnesses - Are you a Brother or a Sister, or just a Publisher?
by The Searcher ini've been associated with several congregations, and the one thing which is common to them all is this - the preaching work is the foremost thing we are told to focus on.

I remember one lady who Studied™ for a couple of years, she was a single mom of three, and was on social assistance - didn't have a car. The JWs who Studied™ with her were happy to go out of their way to pick her and her kids up for Meetings™ and Field Service™, let her tag along to District Conventions™ and Circuit Assemblies™. The last ride she got from them was at the end of the District Convention™ when she got Baptized™. The next Meeting™ she was on her own as they had another Study™ to cart around.
This poor lady was like "They say they'll die for you, but they can't give you a f*cking drive to the Kingdom Hall."

If one mate is Scripturally Free To Remarry™, so is the other one - however they Committed Adultery™ as far as the legalistas at Bethel™ are concerned, despite the fact that they are, in the eyes of the law of the land, divorced and both free to remarry.
If you want to get sticky about it, the bible actually says that if one mate does not Render The Marital Due™ (in this case by rejecting the wife and divorcing her without Scriptural™ grounds) they are considered bloodguilty because they have set up the rejected mate to commit adultery. The WTS usually applies this to a wife who refuses to have sex with her husband, you know, because a JW male just can't keep it in his pants unless wifey is servicing him whenever he gets an itch down there.
I really wonder why that angle has not been applied to this jerk.

Morbidzbaby writes:
the "guilty" party has to wait until the "innocent" party remarries before they are "free" to date and get married themselves
That only applies if they wish to remain JW. If they are DFd and don't give a crap about WTS rules, they can do whatever they like. Actually, if they are DFd and remarry, they can petition for Reinstatement™, but that may not be considered until the Innocent Mate™ either remarries or dies. It all depends on the Elders™ involved on the Judicial Committee™ and who you are/were within the Congregation™ at the time.
You can bet that if the Innocent Mate™ was an Elder™ or Ministerial Servant™ who beat up his wife and she fled for her own safety, and she was seen with some gay male friends she worked with, she would be DFd for Adultery™ in a heartbeat, and the Innocent Mate™/Elder™ could remarry within a month so he could start smacking around his next victim. [I know of an incident like this!]

Next time you have to deal with him or any other Elder™, just remember that if you need to assume financial responsibility for your mother and/or her care, you will be saving his window-cleaning-@$$ a whole lot of money. You're doing him a huge favour, and perhaps he needs to hear that from you.
Picture him in his window cleaning gear instead of his KH monkey suit. He makes about $5 per pane of glass, that's a lot of effing windows in a day.

Question about blood
by XPeterX insome jw's accept certain plasma fractions.if the plasma is extracted from human blood then who's blood is it that they use?jw's won't donate blood.do they let others donate blood instead?wtf.
-
Scully
Blood fractions refer to minute quantities of blood components that are collected from large donor pools.
For example, Anti-D (Win-Rho, Rho-Gam) is administered to Rh-negative women during and after pregnancy to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn in subsequent pregnancies. The amount administered is about 2.5 mL (½ teaspoon), but it takes thousands of donors who are isoimmune (Rh-negative and exposed to Rh-positive blood and have developed the Rh antibodies) to synthesize the blood product. It is okay for a JW woman to take Anti-D, or rather it is up to her (her husband's?) Conscience™.
Having a baby with hemolytic disease of the newborn is awful. Even though we can treat the baby with massive phototherapy from the instant it is delivered, it can take a long time for the baby to get better, and in the meantime, the baby is separated from its mother. Sometimes though the phototherapy treatment isn't enough and exchange transfusions are needed so the baby won't die of oxygen deprivation as his red blood cells die off faster than they can be made. The other potential outcome without treatment is severe brain damage from bilirubin (a by-product of red blood cell breakdown). Any parent who would knowingly risk their baby's life like this by not taking a relatively simple precaution deserves to have child protective services all over their stupid asses.
And yes, you are correct, a JW woman who has become isoimmunized could potentially help other women protect their children from this horrible fate by donating their precious antibodies, but the WTS forbids it.

I'm actually surprised that a JW male was allowed to divorce his wife without grounds, after a very brief marriage, just rejected her outright?? And the Elders™ didn't get all up in their business before that??
How much you wanna bet that he plays for the other team?
