Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.
the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

great question simon your asking the wrong people Perhaps rephrase the question and circumstances.lts a plus 100 degree day and everyone is using airconditioning the power supply is run on both dirty black coal and renewables like solar and windpower but theres no wind and its overcast. Black outs are common .Now ask greta or gore which power supply would they prefer if they were dying in hospital and in need of electricity to save their life.

here in Australia it started off as toilet paper selling out then people realized paper towels could substitute (people r slow) then it was flour then rice then pasta then sugar then meat and today the freezers have been emptied of all frozen vegetables.Now canned foods are quickly disappearing. All this within 1 week and only 5 reported deaths due to corona.This is getting real serious .lf this keeps up people will be throwing money in the streets or using it as toilet paper.

Do JWs believe that animals were created to live in harmony? Lion and the lamb
by Doubledecker inthanks to all who replied to my first post, i appreciate you taking the time to do so.. i left jws for my own reasons as a teenager as i just simply didn’t believe it .
i am enjoying playing catch up with all the information out there now showing multiple examples of false prophecies , covering up the truth and the jw broadcasting stuff is amazing ( as said before i’ve just ignored the organisation for 30 years ) , it’s totally brainwashing evangelical propaganda.. however i digress .... as a young kid i used to ask , “if in paradise the “ lion will lay with lamb “ and all creatures will live in harmony, why for example does a snake have venom if not to eat another creature ?”.
like i say i was 10 years old i remember so please excuse the childish question.. but do they actually believe that was gods original plan for animals ?
