Wife told me a tale about a letter writing experience and my BS meter was like "uhhh ya rightttttt"
by goingthruthemotions inso me and my pimi wife are driving today and normally we don't talk anything about her stupid cult.
because it will end up with me saying something and her getting p.o'ed.
well anyways i have been trying to just ignore the bs and keep my mouth shut.

Maybe the question should be asked why dont JWS participate in giving to the poor, the sick and disadvantaged as other Christian based faiths do ?
Those were the actual instructions that were handed out by Jesus to his followers.
I'm always impressed by my grandmother's church (Anglican) who go out to help the needy, sick and homeless, all volunteered with their own donations.
Would you see JWS doing that ?

Well the JW said, "well I am a Jehovah witness and we take the time to help."
What so special about that ?
I've done that many times at the local grocery store and I'm not religoius .
You dont have to be religious or a JWS to be kind, considerate and empathic to others.
Actually those are the reasons why I left the JWS.

the GB has just cancelled the next two years
by neat blue dog ineven some democrats are advocating for reopening society, and are at least hoping for some point in 2021, but the governing body just announced that they're canceling the assemblies in 2022 as well, aiming to restart in 2023. .
they're really milking this 'pandemic', because as soon as things go back to normal that sense of urgency will start to die again, and publisher counts / meeting attendance will go down as well.
i wonder how many jws are suffering form (additional) depression from this as well, because with meetings, assemblies and conventions at least you could see and meet new people, as well as socialize.
