  Cold war on homefront!

  a few months back i let it be known to my husband that i was no longer interested in anything jw related.

  when he took it to the elders, without actually divulging anything that might get me disfellowshipped like apostasy - well, he just basically told them i was all depressed and discouraged and everything and that i didn't want to be contacted by the elders about it.

  i don't know what he actually told them, word for word, or what they actually said to him word for word, but he told me they told him not to do anything spiritual with me at home anymore - no bible study, praying, daily text, meetings via phone, jw broadcasting, discussions, etc.

  what does it mean and how does it work?

  my husband's gone to his meeting and i'm catching up with folks here on our forum.

  i'm sure i'm having a better time :) anyway, was just following some posts regarding the un and there happened to be a copy of a magazine article stating brothers wouldn't want to be joining the "y" because it was "christian".

  i think this was back in the 1950's (maybe not).

  hello - let me try to explain.

  a couple of months ago or so i joined this forum, then shortly after checked out jwrecovery which seemed a better fit personally and joined them.

  started to feel comfortable there and they closed, and i pouted for a while.

  "thereishope"| is now "lifesnotover" i wasn't able to simply sign out and register with a new user name as someone suggested, but thanks!

  so i used a different email account when i went to register, and it worked.. i typed my story into bio-box but it wouldn't allow me to add it or update profile or whatever it's called.
