I wonder if they are just being nice about it with you for the time being. But they are hoping that eventually she'll grow tired of you and go after some Bethalite or CO or pioneer, etc.

JW girlfriend

however, my experience has been quite different from that of others doing the same thing.
unlike other posts that i have read, her parents (we are both 18) are supportive of her relationship with me, she is quite open minded when it comes to social activities, she has both jw and non-jw friends, and is a totally "normal" 18 year old girl.

What irritates you?
by writerpen inwhat irritates me is when the car in front of me on the interstate leaves his turning signal on for 8 miles.
i was so irritated at this coming back from lunch today that all i could think of was, 'wouldn't it be great if i had a rocket installed in this little car so i could blow his car off the road?
' why do we get pissed at little stuff like this?

Those STUPID IDIOTS that are behind me, speed up and pass me, and then get in front of me so they can slam on their breaks and make a right turn.
Finally a couple of weeks ago I got pissed and took one of them on. He tried to pass me in his POS, riced-up early '90s Honda Civic. He was trying to pass me so I sped up. He neglected to notice that the light had changed to red up ahead and there were about 10 cars stopped at the light in his lane (there were none in my lane). All of a sudden I hear him slam on the brakes and some tire smoke going up from all of his tires being locked. It was hilarious.
That took the feistiness outa him.

allow me to share some things about this man that may help to shed some light on his mindset as a jw.. one of the most important things i have found when dealing with "loyal" jw on the net is to find out thier status with in the org, esp if they are male- .
you see this organization is a "position" driven organization, esp for males and if they have no position within thier local congo - other than mike handler after being a jw for years then that means in most cases the male jw is considered a flunky- we have seen guys as young as 17 being appointed as ms-.
