  Were the doors locked at your KH, during meetings?

  i remember a time when the brothers locked the doors during a meeting.

  if you arrived late, they had to come and unlock the door to let you in.

  i also remember a time when they weren't locked.

  I've never been to one where they were locked. I've never heard of this before. Been to several halls in the not-so-good side of town and they weren't locked either.

  Used to go to the assemblies in Wichita at that convention center north of town. Sedan is a cute, if boring little town. It's being overrun with antique stores lol

  I have always had a secret desire to be able to write my name in the snow...but since there is snow down here in Texas I don't really need it.

  That's ok. There's snow here but my bladder isn't big enough to let me write my entire name so I just write my initials.

  does anyone remember one of his shows from the late 1970's when john denver was on the show?

  i never saw the show but heard about it in the jw circle (urban legend??).

  it was known that john denver hated jw's and during their bantering, carson asked denver about his asking jw's to leave during his concerts.
